  1. Zero issues with any of those leaving, providing we bring in one youngster and one experienced head for CM to supplement RLC/Kova.
  2. What a joke Utd going down to 10, where were the 2 reds for Lei yesterday! This is what does me in, the consistency is just as bad with or without Var.
  3. Slow and steady, glad to see him not so wasteful today with unnecessary skills.
  4. What an absolute gem of a player, you’d think he’d been in the EPL for years.
  5. That’s two reds they’ve got away with.
  6. Cannot seem to keep up sustained pressure.
  7. I’d prefer to see Zakaria in tomorrow especially as we are probably looking at Ruben at RB. Enzo just looks to fit Kante so well, I hope we see N’Golo at even 80% of what he was with the small give and go passes.
  8. What a save from Milan, then go and hit the post.
  9. Did anyone watch the PSG game? How were Bayern?
  10. Stadium has been crickets tonight, stark comparison to last night at the bridge.
  11. 24 years old, crazy to think he’s even still there.
  12. Ah Kylian Kylian.. Wasting your career.
  13. If he had shown more maturity recently then I’m sure he would of come on instead of Puli. Yesterdays game before we went 2-0 up would seem to have suited him with the space but ultimately the lineup paid off. I’d expect him to start this weekend.
  14. To clarify, not leaning toward the Neil Warnock type of captain 🤣 I mean a JT type, if something is going wrong or someone needs a word then it’s done, we miss those personalities, not just in a captain, squad wide. Reece isn’t that type of person, neither is Kova, just because he put in a monstrous performance it doesn’t warrant being in the mix, though Reece has time to develop, we see his personality on the field and off. Not a big deal and it’s no sleight on him, I’m not even sure we have someone in the squad at the moment who fits a mould, been spoilt over the years.
  15. Doesn't seem vocal enough to be a captain but then again I always associate captains with that type of style, perhaps that's wrong. Absolute monster tonight, as Sterling was told to stay up the pitch in the second half he covered two positions and beasted a fresh legged tricky player to boot, held my breath for a moment when Bellingham fouled him in the last minute and his ankle looked to buckle on the replay.
  16. What are you on about? You play who is infront of you, the only time Dortmund were allowed to look half decent was when we shit ourselves going 2-0 up. Love how prior to the game publications were Dortmund this, Dortmund that, form team, unbeaten since November etc and now it's anything to take the gloss off of, arguably, two monster performances, moreso tonight of course. I'll slam the team where its due and I'll praise where its due, cheer up.
  17. Agreee. The amount of time Tuchel spent without Ben and Reece is a tragedy. Always enjoy the shit housery as well. Surprising how well he linked with Cucurella as well tonight, moreso on Cucurella in terms of the surprising part, just wonder with Silva out if Ben has the mileage until the end of the season, may see Lewis Hall again, rather than Cucurella at LB/LWB.
  18. And again tonight. When the ball fell to him on the edge of the box, I can't be the only one who had their eyes light up for a moment 😅
  19. If someone interviewed me after losing a game, I dread to think what I'd say, it's bad enough when I lose at monopoly. Curious he doesn't mention the penalty we should have had 10 minutes in.
  20. Posted about the lack of experienced big personalities and Ben is working nicely toward being one of those in the future.
  21. Credit where credit is due, high octane play like today suits this team, but it's down to the players to do that and get past the mental block of not scoring during pressure then flattening or going into a shell when we concede, it's a process and I'll say it again, we're used to the elite mentality, or having younger players coming into our team with captains of national teams getting changed next to them day in day out, we don't have that, we don't have those big players. The coach certainly does his part and it must be difficult to have Graham, who is a sound chap, trying to get you up for a big game. Just watched his BT sport interview and he looks like a rabbit in headlights, like a fan of another club who has been invited along for the day. I said to myself "what a shame" because I am genuinely happy for him tonight, whatever the injuries etc Dortmund are the form team in Europe and we utterly schooled them. I want him to succeed, do I think he will? No, why? We are Chelsea, it's different here, it's elite, he should have gone to Spurs, in my opinion.
  22. How you can moan about Puli over Mud is crazy in a massive European night, Mud was trying and failing every trick and flick in the book, no surprise he went for Puli for the experience.. Even if he was terrible, can't nitpick every decision, we won and beat Dortmund, we have injuries, so do they, enjoy it, smile maybe.
  23. Before we tucked the second away, no team is living against that type of passing and pressing. Our issue is mentality and experience, once we took the position of being in the lead, we shit ourselves.
  24. Can't agree with the Jude hate, good player, tons of ability, he's not a 'great' player, word is overused but he's got all the tools.
