  1. The sad part is that we have that mug Rory representing Chelsea in terms of YouTube personalities, woeful. ”Erling will flop” epitomises the respect his opinion should be given.
  2. Frank hasn’t improved markedly since his Derby days, fundamental issues are still present in all his teams since, albeit not a huge pool, it’s a fair statement. Elevated sense of self is all I think when I listen to his interviews about issues predating him etc etc I know this isn’t related but I saw Frank and Petr on my flight to Stuttgart years ago, day after we got beat by United, Petr was fine with the people who recognised him, Frank had the hump by it all, fans this, fans that, players need to understand Chelsea this, Chelsea that, yawn, spin the other one, I’ll be shocked if he gets another job, interview today with a little dig praising Arsenal as they stuck with Arteta but another club may have changed manager two or three times - Heard on the radio from a presenter so I can’t direct quote. Either way, get out Frank.
  3. Purging most of the people who have been around for yonks. Look at sky sports itself, slowly merging in the YouTube personalities rather than ex pros.
  4. Almost as mystifying as Chelsea but Spurs will Spurs I guess. Timely Kane interview released today as well.
  5. Tiresome of some of the fan base lately generically on phone ins etc about we should have got an elite manager like Zidane etc etc like when do people take a step back and have a think about us as a club? When did we last win the league? Yes we’re a big club, spoilt by success and a beloved owner in Roman. The reality is that we are in transition, therefore looking at what Poch did at previous clubs, and I really do discount PSG it’s a joke of a club for management (pot kettle..), but I’d rather have someone who has consistently worked with bringing a squad up. Would anyone then be against someone else coming in after a few years to finish the job if Poch was never able to take that step? No. We’ve got a talented squad, albeit it needs trimming, but the owners are realising their mistakes e.g rehiring the medical staff. Get the season ended and onto preseason, I’m happy with Poch coming in.
  6. Watching the city game instead, shambolic.
  7. Where’s his personal trainer posting on socials now?? Ridiculous.
  8. Fast and physically imposing, unsure how much can be attributed to Kane’s development in terms of Poch but ultimately if you were given the choice you’d take Ras, considering we could probably offload Rom on a loan + fee again.
  9. I have no clue why Poch would hamstring himself so bad so early with entertaining the possibility of having Rom in the mix over a young mouldable striker like Ras, if he’s indeed a real possibility, seen £65m as a figure and I’d be happy with that.
  10. Seems pretty wild but I could actually believe it after watching his post match interview vs Madrid, I feel sorry for the chap, rolls royce of a player, though I doubt he’d leave Lamps in the lurch after he said it was him that believed in him from PSG, if I recall.
  11. And I thought our players didn’t give a toss, nice to know I can always take solace in the fact Spurs will Spurs.
  12. As a baseline I would only hope to see the same level of fitness in our team next season that Poch’s Spurs had in his early days there where the average squad age was 24/25.
  13. We’re a cup team, at this stage we aren’t going to attract the elite standard of management but who is elite these days that’s available - It’s modern day management.
  14. Kane may well be considering follow Poch.
  15. Definitely in favour of this depending on the ban outcome.
  16. I was in favour at the time when the whole Lukaku saga started, finisher and a sickening ethic to have around the youngsters as long as his ego is satisfied - Our issue hasn’t been creating changes, it’s been putting them away.
  17. Munich should have two, at least, looks like one of those games.
  18. Irrespective of manager, they need experienced heads within the team with an appetite to bite back everyday, said it in so many posts but Rudi epitomised that, he wouldn’t have looked out of place under our Carlo team, I’d wager we’d have a few more red cards.
  19. Agree with this, his age really counts against him, I do not care what anyone says, it drops into every negative conversation “oh he’s young(er)”, not that it should come into the conversation but we need to decide as a club, as Thiago and Didier said. I do feel sorry for Potter, complete shit show to be dropped into, is some of it his fault? Sure, everyone takes blame, but I cannot imagine the daily pressures mentally on his head. not in favour of Enrique, I’d be happy with Emery or Poch, Poch is labelled Spursy in nature but at the end of the day his team were impressive, bottle or not, we did our fair share of bottle jobs under Tuchel let’s not forget. 1. Appoint an experienced manager 2. Out of ANY signings this window, we need experience and attitude, not just slap dash youngsters without any guidance, this is where I loathed losing Rudi
  20. Definitely need someone who is capable of coaching an individual, made the point before about Grealish at Villa and Grealish under Pep, started off slow but flying now.
  21. Gave a brilliant post match interview, cannot link as I’m on my phone but I’m sure you can find it on Twitter. Outlines the issues with the squad, signing 8 in January, had to increase physically the size of the dressing room, players unhappy etc. Such a shame he’s the age he is because I’d love to keep him around for as long as possible but the reality is that he will probably retire the end of next year in terms of Premier league.
