Where has his personal PT disappeared to? Recall him being vocal about Chelsea rushing him back from an injury, all quiet now. Sad news for Reece, most likely down to him trying to impress and going hard, Kinsella reported this week has been harder than the whole of last preseason.
-
The trouble with Frank is that under these circumstances he speaks well and you can see a board giving him a job, then the reality of day to day management kicks in and he’s simply not there yet, similar to his playing career compared to standards (expectations?) these days. Plus, I will never get over how moody he was with fans when he was on my Stuttgart flight with Big Pete, who was the polar opposite, so I do have a tough time believing this Chelsea close to the heart talk, City boy.
-
Typical hype of an English player from the daily mail “Mount impresses on debut” the only fan base he’s impressed is Chelsea, by continuing his off the pace dross.
-
Poch will want the Dembele equivalent, who was criminally underrated at Spuds, interested to see what formation we line up with, I’d be disappointed if we saw Enzo dropping deep in all honesty.
-
Love this side of the game, interested to see what happens with our work rate under Perez.
-
Too right, no matter what’s said, we DO have the financial power to banish to the reserves, hopefully the penny has dropped with Inter and Rom. Board moving to redemption arc.
-
100% , quite sad to see someone who is a ‘Chelsea lad’ vs someone who was in the Spurs academy, and the latter being more excited. we’ve all given our new ownership stick but objectively the new board/management seem to be doing things right, if slowly. The reality is that I don’t see any other team investing/who invested the money we did, rightly or wrongly, ambition is ambition, and we’re honing in on translating that in alot of areas of the club. Will it be overnight? No, but go play for Brighton or someone else and I’d be confident in a few years we’ll look back at this blip, won’t we Mason.
-
Noni is going to be some player if Poch can get get him doubling down on his end product, as he gets into some fantastic positions, somehow.
-
Wow wow wow!!!! What saves from the keeper there
-
Agony for Levi there.
-
Spain definitely should have a pen here in the last 30s from Col
-
Ashley Cole sent off in the final, love to see the shit housery.
-
Something that always frustrated me was not getting players in for a full pre season, weight of expectation is still massive and it puts the player at a massive disadvantage, hopefully the new board can avoid this for Poch.

I do expect Mount to do well at United, but define that phrase ‘to do well’ ie. Nothing spectacular, he will get a few goals, few assists, but ultimately I really think United will fall behind next season unless this ownership battle gets resolved asap and they splash some cash.
-
Surprised they’d reject 60m, I’d be inclined to think this bid is to unsettle Vlahovic into a transfer request or asking to be let go, that said, I’d take a straight swap for Rom, then I wake up…
-
I said the same about Cesc playing for us and fast forward he’s one of my favourite all time Chelsea players.
-
Providing he goes for that fee and not the £15m quoted.
-
Bottom line is that player power only extends so far, yes financially we have implications but at the same time no footballer wants to lose a year of their career to the reserves or being out of favour, yes there are always exceptions of course but no chance Mount wants this at this juncture in his career. That said, cash in at the price we want, or sit in the reserves, if he wants to go and United are haggling over £5m then it’s down to their side/camp to resolve.
-
Here’s to almost winning the league eh Jorgi.
-
Chiesa I’d of snapped at pre-injury, he was playing some great tenacious football.
-
How I hate the English media when England play, overhyped tactically unaware bunch of average players for the majority. Far gone are the days of playing for the badge. Can't wait for the next tournament so we can flop yet again. Footballs coming home! Right..?
-
Pretty evident what will happen with Rom, everyone and their dog knows we are in a terrible position, he will end up going to Inter on loan again, just a matter of how protracted we make it, to our own detriment. Though I would equally be fine with the leadership sticking him in the reserves for a year to make a point, that would send an unprecedented message in football that we will not be held ransom, however unlikely that scenario is.
-
Brilliant news, did not rate Onana beyond shit housery prospects, really hope this one comes off and we send Kepa the other way.
-
Second this, I don’t see it odd at all to support two teams, especially with family, my dad supports Millwall and I go to more of their games than Chelsea games for the last two years, doesn’t affect my support for Chelsea and never has done since I was a kid - Half my family support Chelsea and the other half Millwall, simple.

Established or not, brands go on viewership and number of eyes for the most part and we are playing less games next year so less eyes on the brand. It’s a smart financial move, which bewilders me how other areas of the business get their pants pulled down.
