  1. agreed, takes his time to get up to speed after a layoff or period out.
  2. There’s so much potential here, first 25 minutes, I just don’t think Potter gets the time or has the gravitas to do it, sadly.
  3. Run, stop, cut back, look, pass backwards, repeat.
  4. We are so slow. Mudryk in acres. So hesitant to play the short sharp pass and move from the first 25 minutes now.
  5. Cucurella is shocking, as he lined up to hit that cross I said to myself first rule stop the cross.
  6. Need Chilly back on and in form, Cucu is just… bizarre.
  7. 100% this, far too many times we’ve had players making runs with no one able to see the pass.
  8. Bossing this game, absolutely purring. Need to get another one before half time.
  9. Wasn't helped by the fact he had to have his back to Fulham the entire 45 almost, not on the same wavelength for give and go type of football with Mason (shocker Mason is an issue here..)
  10. I really want Potter to work out but he simply looks like a deer in headlights, not just tonight, even the presser yesterday he didn't really have a clue when answering the questions, a club of our size with the investment, I don't think he was ready for that, were any of us? None of us saw this investment coming. Sorry, Graham.
  11. - Enzo was played on the wrong side, too far back, still our best player - Mount, so slow, picks the wrong pass everytime and still fluffs it - Conor, simply not good enough, whether he's a blue or not - Ziyech, cut inside, one trick, decent whips - Kai.. Kai *shrug* - Cucurella, looks like he has cement in his boots - Mount played on Mudryk's side, you can see he wants to give and go, not playing back to Fulham Crazy how we haven't stepped up in the face of incoming signings.
  12. Shocking decision. Actually shocking. Playing Enzo on the wrong side as well, how Conor and Mount have ended up bombing forward instead of one sitting is beyond me. Midfield is just lost.
  13. You can call me nitpicky but there is a photo of Kai driving into training this morning drinking a capri sun, and I'm aware the start of this post sounds ridiculous, but would you see the same from even an almost 40 year old Cristiano? Someone who is a total professional when it comes to nutrition and fitness, not saying Kai is in the same bucket, but he has all the ability in the world, looks so much more sluggish than his Lever days.. Take a bit of pride, I can totally understand why managers like Antonio come in and overhaul diets/micro manage everything that a player eats/drinks.
  14. Brighton given us permission to speak to Potter.
  15. Every coach has to make his name somewhere and I'm past cherry picking 'elite' ones from other teams. With Todd's model and the youth we've invested in, I'd prefer Potter, it fits with their profile. I'm disappointed with the sacking, I love Tuchel and I think asking him to be so involved in transfers was a catastrophic mistake, it's funny because I was listening to a podcast with the Brighton CEO and he was chatting about how they handle their transfer windows, I'm sure it's not different to other clubs, but there was a real insistence on following that process, whereas we seemed to jettison Marina and Co (correctly) with no DOF lined up, it's then highlighted how poor our transfer scouting department is - not youth, just the general target identification, hence the scatter gun approach. Poor management from us and I feel for Tuchel, I really noticed his growth as a manager during our time and I'm disappointed because we absolutely played Spurs off the park, showing the 'possible' and his wish to get Raheem, turning out to be great so far. Sad that we let Rudi go, in terms of leadership and fire, managers are on the touch line and if the players had half the energy Tuchel did, we'd be far better off, so ultimately the coach is reliant on those on the pitch, leaders which we lack. /rant
  16. I miss the days where our team literally were units, almost every position had an international captain or full international, no team could bully us and I'd always look forward to the Stokes etc coming up against Ballack, Terry, Drogba etc.
  17. It's sad how off the pace and nervous Conor is, trying way too hard.
  18. Has ability, not ready for Chelsea at the moment and trying too hard because he's a fan/wants to impress. It is what it is, young player made a mistake, that's all it is, don't over react because if we sold him now we'd want to possibly buy him back in 2-3 years, in his natural position. Needs a loan, hopefully this should convince him of that and tempers his patience to wait instead of listening to the C Palace hype ala Ruben.
