No fair I'm also surprisingly resistant to pain. I went a whole day with a broken wrist, lifting things, acting as though it was a healthy arm, and I only saw the doctor because the pain built up way too much when I stuck my arm into the fridge. I also went 2 days with a huge bruise on my ribs- one of them had a hairline fracture. That was the hardest thing I've ever done, I had a cold at the same time and coughing before I saw the doctor and was prescribed painkillers remains comfortably the worst experience of my life.

Lads if you fancy a fight I'm available. Word to the wise though- there comes a point, roughly about 10 punches in anywhere on my body, where hitting me will actually hurt you more than me. Bone strength . Also an advantage of being bone thin is you have razors for elbows. I could elbow a John Terry-sized person in the face/testicles and knock him out.

No. On occasion if it did get me down I'd just use my grandfather as a source of inspiration. If you remember his story, I believe he's invincible

I'm built like Gandhi, except I'm about half a foot taller. I've been so skinny all my life I doubt my bones could actually support a sudden spurt in muscle mass. It's made me an easy target in the past, but I picked myself up every time someone knocked me over. My BMI has dipped as low as 13.9 at points in my life. Currently it's at an unhealthy 15. As far as eating goes my body seems to be an incredibly well oiled machine. I seem to eat exactly what enough to match what I put out in energy.

That's for dickheads (no offence). People who build muscle for no reason other than to attract women. Stop being so shallow and superficial and have some confidence in yourself. I'm skinny, very skinny, and I don't have a lot of muscle on me. The only limitation I have in life is that I have to be more cautious walking around the streets where I live after dark. Even if I was big, what difference will a few dozen kilograms of muscle make when the other guy has a knife or a gun? N.b.: I don't want this to sound like a rant against you Art. Just this whole bodybuilding culture in general. Its excessive and in the end pointless. This isn't 10000 BC, we have machinery now to substitute for pure muscle.

Ollie's contribution to this thread has been exceptional. I haven't laughed this hard in weeks

I predict scenes in this thread. Aside from those pre-school bullies, and the body structure of myself and most of my family (thin as a board), I find very little wrong with fat people. In fact they're actually quite nice (the ones older than 5, anyway). So what if they overeat? It's their body, its their choice.

Sorry Spike. I voted for manpe. The greatest typist known in forum history deserves every honour he can get.
-
But why do they all have to be bullies?
-
No I'm not, I worship you in the typing thread.
-
No, you have to beat Artinho. Bronze is yours.
-
I don't understand/like fat people either (no offence to any well-fed posters). Though that stems from pre-school where there was a fat kid who bullied everyone.
-
Good call TX, it made me inquisitive. No idea what this is about though.
-
I'm not fussed about spiders. Its other bugs/crawlies that get me; cockroaches, slugs, worms, etc. The one thing I cannot understand is how people can dislike Kalou...
-
This isn't an official TC Olympic Event. You have nothing! Except an almost certain first place in the typing comp...

Copycat.

I'm an anxious person, though. I worry for a living.

Actually I think Villas-Boas will be a success at Spurs. His touchline squatting and other acts that scream "WANKER" would go down well. People give him a lot of shit and venerate Bielsa, though they share a similar managerial philosophy. Though in Bielsa's defence he's not incompetent with the press, nor does he squat on the touchline.
-
If he's splitting his resources 3 ways (4, if you include his role in the Russian FA), that can't be a great thing for us. He should pull out of CSKA/the Russian FA.
-
And I forgot the bench: Turnbull Ferreira Essien Romeu Malouda Torres Sturridge There's an invincible team. They would probably smash Spain, even Brazil 1970.
-
That would make it club number 3 he has a hand in. He tried to own CSKA Moscow as well, but wasn't permitted to. He's probably some sort of secret investor there. At least Arkady only has one love...

Red Rom wouldn't go as far as to own another club, would he?

BluesMaster is awful at this.

They can help when you're still developing in your teens. Doping someone allows them to focus a lot less on physical training and a lot more on technical training, which at that developmental stage makes a massive difference. You're already getting naturally bigger, faster, stronger from puberty, pumping drugs in at that stage can allow a youth player to virtually ignore physical training. Also cyclists' drugs help only with recovery. HGH isn't used in cycling anymore, its all blood doping. Football seems to be more or less the same, except they prefer nandrolene rather than EPO, but the amount of heart related deaths/strokes we've seen on the pitch in recent years confirms that EPO is very much in use. Recovery cuts down injury time, the likelihood of injury is also reduced as there's less fatigue in an individuals muscles. It also allows even fully fledged players to devote themselves to technical training and limit time spent on physical training.
