  1. I don't want to see Hiddink. He'll stick around for 2-3 years and retire, it'll be a short term fix. We should be looking for managers who can give us at least 5 years.
  2. How many warnings for a ban? Never been warned
  3. Much as I hate the Yids (is that still acceptable? My apologies to any who take offence), I think having a thread like this makes our forum look petty and rather RAWK-like.
  4. Gutted. Uni work means I'll miss the Tour of Flanders, one of the most steeped-in-tradition cycling races
  5. He's proven himself to be at the least, competent. He's not lacking in the tactics area and is clearly a better motivator than either Villas-Boas or Ancelotti were.
  6. Michel Platini intervened to ensure we'd have an unfair ref!
  7. I haven't watched the game yet, but I did see that Mata started. Why?!!
  8. Ah yes, the morning after. Always swear I'll never touch alcohol again, by the next week I'll be drinking again
  9. The link won't load for me Hahaha Kalou looks like a college nerd in your signature.
  10. You can't wear red, the colour of the North London scum! Any of the others are fine though
  11. TX is a good poster, he's a bit stupid about Kalou but he's really smart apart from that and I like him I don't know about Henrique or Justin though.
  12. How much effect will the Petrov affair have on them? Will we face a team determined to win or a team thats got its attention fixed on their sick captain?
  13. I love history and I'm pursuing a major in history at uni Personally I'm more interested in World War I- not so much the fighting but the huge social impacts it had worldwide. Revolutions in Russia and Germany, women's rights growing worldwide, the 'Turnip Winter' in Germany and all the sacrifices everyday people made to keep the carnage at the front going, the arrival of the United States as a force to be reckoned with, Germany's humiliation at Versailles and their subsequent revenge 21 years later, and my own Australia's baptism of fire. World War II, on the other hand was for me all about the fighting and the sneaky back room deals. From the Molotov-Ribbentrop Non Aggression Pact to the USSR doing the seemingly impossible and preventing the Nazi's from taking Moscow with their incredible doggedness at Leningrad and Stalingrad, and the first (and only) ever attack on Australian territory it all made for compelling reading, but to me just didn't appeal to me as much as WWI. Probably because of all the dicking about the US did with Stalin. Yes he was a cunt, but he won the war, and I would have personally been a little bit wary of pissing off a man like that.
  14. I rarely enjoy drinking if the proof is greater than 45%. It's just not worth it when its starts going north of there.
  15. This was the pick of the bunch, IMO, huge Real Madrid fan Rafael Nadal with his uncle. You can tell by the look on his face that he isn't too happy at his uncle's choice of wardrobe for him
  16. If thats the case, if I were you, I wouldn't say that any louder
  17. Yes, he'd give us an extra attacking option. I'd love to see a player of his quality at our club. I disagree. He's not very influential at all IMO, and to be frank, he can't be much worse than our current dressing room heads of state.
  18. The ends always justify the means in football. He wanted to end player power so he aggressively tried to get his message across, but it didn't work. The means are never criticised when someone gets it right; if he had managed to end player power and get his revolution underway we'd all be sitting here right now admiring his panache to risk his job to get rid of the players.
