  1. We won't send out youth. We'll send out misfits like Malouda and players that are past it like Essien. No one will benefit from our presence in the Europa League. Our EL lineup will probably be: Cech Ivanovic-Cahill-Terry-Bertrand Essien-Mikel Malouda-Mata-Kalou Torres. What's the point when only three regular starters (Cole, Lampard and Ramires) are left out?
  2. I wouldn't mind his selfishness if he's scoring goals. But he's been awful since about December, and all he's done since then is dribble and shoot. When it's not working for you, take a leaf out of Torres' book and stop thinking you're the biggest gun in the world. Forget Mourinho, he needs someone to poke his inflated head with a safety pin.
  3. I disagree. No one except the Spanish take it seriously, and thats probably because Spanish clubs know that the Europa League is their only chance for success in a year, what with Barcelona and Madrid passing La Liga and Copa del Rey between themselves every season.
  4. That is very harsh on Kalouda. At least the pair of them bother with teamwork and not shooting every second time they get the ball (well, not so much Malouda).
  5. Nice. I bought some bread and Burger Rings. Our purchases really are the highlight of this thread.
  6. Where is the Kalou wallpaper, Caerelus?
  7. 4-1-4-1? Unlikely. 4-2-3-1 is more likely to be what he goes with, we can't have one centre midfielder against Schweinsteiger, Kroos et al.
  8. Manpe's right, if he didn't care he'd be angling for a move to Asia. Perhaps join Anelka on 300k a week at Shenhua.
  9. How do you pronounce his name? Thee-boat Court-wa is how I say it.
  10. Nah. Win the CL and stay there, Europa League is a joke of a competition and will only serve as a distraction from the league.
  11. What is most concerning is his mental attitude. He just doesn't seem to care anymore. If he played with 100% passion like he did before he would still be a decent player.
  12. I really don't understand the whole tabloid culture in England. The articles produced by these publishing houses are about as accurate as a shot from Fahad Khalfan. For those who don't get the comparison: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLvoT6TlRec
  13. On the subject, BlueLion, they destroyed my Harappan essay. Only gave me 65 Apparently I did not use enough evidence to back up my claims . They just marked me down because I didn't toe the party line and decided to go with the opinion that they were the equals of Egypt and Mesopotamia.
  14. London > Midlands But to settle the argument, Australia > all.
  15. Big name African player who is highly popular worldwide. Comfortably 10-15 million for him, if we can con a team into thinking he's in good shape, up to 20 million. Thank you for everything you've done Michael, we'll always love you at the Bridge, but its time to move on.
  16. Who cares? These days he's no more than an average player.
  17. Dzeko's not been great for a couple of seasons now. And we'd have to pay stupid money to get him.
  18. And then there's us mirroring Leeds 1975. I think the superstitions just about balance out, I can give us a boost by sleeping in blue the night before the game.
  19. A trophy is always better than a battle for a league position where we have to rely on other teams to help us out.
  20. And then there's us mirroring Leeds 1975. I think the superstitions just about balance out, I can give us a boost by sleeping in blue the night before the game.
  21. I'll take back my initial disgust at the relocation. I'm still against it as a matter of principle, but the artists impressions of the stadium look absolutely brilliant.
  22. Did I miss something? Both your nationalities are set to England?
