  1. I have said this before, but Kalou really is an extremely underrated passer.
  2. But I thought we were rivals? Fierce rivals, bigger than Barcelona-Madrid. They'd never abandon such an important fixture!
  3. You guys, have some sympathy for Q.P.R., this was what Barcelona were meant to do to us.
  4. Hat trick for Nando. Just to see RAWK rage.
  5. Lol I wasn't serious. Credit to the team at large.
  6. I was the only one to congratulate Salomon. TC, I am disappoint.
  7. KALOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!! Also, not bad Nando. Good stuff.
  8. This is reminiscent of the 09/10 title run in where we did absolutely what we wanted. Bosingwa making 50 metre runs with the ball from centre back, crazy stuff.
  9. Salomon's still limping, and its been about 10 minutes.
  10. Looks like we're on our way to 8-0, lads.
  11. FUCKING HAVE THAT. CAPTAIN JT!!!
  12. Bosingwa is a better centre back than anything
  13. Was that a shot from Sturridge or a pass to no-one?
  14. Hard foul on Salomon, ouch. He looks a bit ginger.
  15. STURRIDGE!!! WHAT A HIT YOU LOVEABLY SELFISH BASTARD!
  16. True, one day, someone will come along and knock Drogba off his perch. There's only 2 players in history that can confidently say we'll never be surpassed, Pele and Maradona.
  17. I often compare football with history, as they are my two greatest passions in life. Other comparisons of de Boer's "go down fighting" theory include: - Invading Russia in winter. - Attempting a war on multiple fronts. - Attempting to defeat the Spartans at Thermopylae - Sending your entire navy all the way around from Ukraine to Japan, via South Africa, only to see nearly all of them sunk within a few days of arrival. - Invading England with a vastly superior naval fleet. That's all I can think of, offhand. Any other disastrous military campaign(s) can be used to describe de Boer, as well.
  18. Also, look at our history with marquee strikers: Crespo- was somewhat of a flop Shevchenko- flop Torres- so far, a flop. Cavani, Higuain, X- Who knows?
  19. Plebs the both of them. Rummenigge is just jelly that we're the new kids on the block who are challenging the Ancien Regime, de Boer is some Cruijff wannabe. He can go down 'fighting' and lose 12-0. I'll take both their words with extremely small pinches of salt. Frank de Boer and all the other critics of our game are no better intellectually than World War I generals, who believed that 19th century tactics were applicable and the only honourable way to fight despite the harsh reality of post Industrial Revolution warfare. Similarly, todays critics believe 20th century tactics of trying to beat a team in a non-Machiavellian manner are ignoring the truth. This is football, not life, there is no need to conform to what other people believe is honourable so shut your mouths and mind your own business.
  20. Is it really worth spending 50 million on Cavani when we could have the best targetman in the world despite being 34 sign on for another season, and Lukaku as well? Cavani would hinder his development, though he is a brilliant player, you have to ask yourself if its worth stalling Romelu's career for that.
  21. I must admit that made me chuckle. My apologies John.
