I would say he can pip Ramires over extremely short distances, like 10-20 metres which is probably more important in football. Ramires would destroy him over 50 and 100 metres, though.

That is very, very unfair on him, by no means is he average. He is inconsistent and like Sturridge can be incredibly frustrating when he's not contributing goals and assists, but just like Danny, he is brilliant at the top of his game. Hopefully the pair of them find some consistency!

Actually, if he can replicate his track record with no-hope clubs like Fulham, he could do well with a relatively no-hope country. I wouldn't say so, we were stuffing the likes of Bolton and Swansea 4, 5-1 earlier in the season.

I do hate it when we get about 3-4 in a row in about 15-25 minutes then we have to sit through half an hour or more for the fifth.
