I remember mentioning that same set up. I wanted Judge but I realize might be harder. But we can Caicedo and someone like Enzo we would be good in the mid.
-
Are we still going to get Livramento? He's been injured but I think in the summer we have a buy back or something?
-
I guess because the thinking was, look we got Thiago Silva old and he has been good. Maybe the same with KK. No reason to fault those that thought because Silva has defied the odds. But as you at it, those are the exceptions then the norm.

We shall see. I see no reason why he can't do it. The summer transfer window that passed was so bad, because the owner bought players with having input from Tuchel which later got sacked. So that was one of the dumbest transfer window. Hopefully going forward with new team we can do that. And Todd does seems to stick with the men he puts in charge, as he has done the same with the Dodgers. While Potter wouldn't have been my first choice (I was happy with Tuchel), but I see what Todd wants and the work that Potter and team did at Brighton was impressive. I believe he can do that similar type of work here. Especially if you have an owner that will back you. I mean heck giving Potter a free pass this season is a big proof for me. That would have never happened before. Like you I want to get rid of a lot of dead wood and get our team more younger. I believe we will see a nice change this time next year.

Another player from Brighton in Mac Allister wanted by Arsenal and Spurs. Say what you want about Potter, but this looks amazing what Potter and team did at Brighton. You can say one player you get lucky, but there's been too many where people want players at Brighton. Todd saw this and the work they done hence why he is willing to discard this season. I'm definitely impress at the work Potter and team did at Brighton.

Yeah France without kante is not going to win. Just like us. This sport sucks without kante.

Yup I mentioned that if any hype for a WC player would be him if you can get him for cheap. Generally WC stars are a hit and miss. But for his age and if you can get for a good price then worth a shot.
-
Any player from world cup to buy it would be Azzedine Ounahi
-
I think we should improve after everyone is back and rested. I did thought we would go down in performance pre world cup. Now to see improvement and as well get rid of more deadwood if possible in January and continue to get younger players. We need DM, Jude will be hard to get so try other people like Caicedo and I guess we will go for Rice. Judge will be the best buy but we don't have a chance in that so let's go for what we can get.
-
No thank you!
-
You know what I think a WC at Australia would be good. Australia would a better host then Qatar.
-
So how is the new Board shaping out? What we have and what we are still waiting for?
-
How much he will cost? Jude is going to cost min 100 million. I wonder if for that we can get Caicedo and Enzo for that amount? We would have two young midfield.
-
We need mid, get Caicedo and then who knows what else we can get. Jude would be amazing, but I'm not sure we got a chance. Going to have to settle for Rice...
-
Caicedo is still good, I wonder how much it will cost to get him. At 21 is a good investment.
-
Obvious, players gave up trying as they didn't want to get injured for WC. Another reason why we was so bad before WC. So do expect to play a bit better after the WC is over and the players get back some chemistry going again.

Best comparison is arteta. He was woeful at the beginning. Now doing fine.
-
To me if they let go of Potter then they are clueless. Spend a summer going on tuchel target to get rid of him because he doesn't work with you and then go and get a coach who is not proven but you want to give him a shot. Then they must know that is going to be a while. Arteta at arsenal was horrible and now are doing fine. Should that be the case they want to follow then we must take this season as a pass. Let's see what Todd and company do. Are they still looking to building something or just are clueless owners that will drag the club into mediocrity.
-
Strange the sell out, but they have made a massive return. Bought for 300 million and now to sell for multi Billion is insane. Because Chelsea was sold recently they can use that evaluation to ask for more for Liverpool.
-
I did I mentioned we would go the way of moyes with united. So that's why I don't bother with this season. I will like to see what kind of players we get in January and take it from there.
-
Arsenal are doing good now but that's after a very bad season of two with arteta. Now not one bad word. I will still wait for another season. I don't understand the reaction of people here when this was expected from day one.
-
I agree because recruitment with Tuchel was taking us nowhere. Remined me a bit like Conte. Short term manager good, but building something for longer term not good. That is what has separated Pep and Klopp from the other PL managers, they have build something for the future and with their football idea.
-
I knew he would be not so good. Another bad transfer by Tuchel. I love Tuchel as a coach but I warned that he was BAD with transfer. Lampard was better at spotting talent and buying quality.
-
Tuchel was a good coach, but he was always bad with transfer. I still say that Brighton have been this good for all the good work done with Potter and team. I will wait till next season to really judge Potter. This season is a pass for me, will not bother being annoyed or anything.
-
I don't think anyone should be surprised. But there's one positive thing is that Brighton are good thanks in part to the work done by potter and team. I think Todd will call this season a lost bit expect improvement next.
