Everytime I look at Higuian I think Torres. They can have one or two seasons of explosion, but overall they are like glass, very fragile. I would take Cavani over him any day.

But I found some encouraging words with what AVB said in: "but we are betting a lot on what we can build on next year." LIke I stated before in some post, my initial goal for AVB at Chelsea was to finish 3 or 4th his first season and no trophies. Second season was to finish 3rd or 2nd with a small trophie like Carling or FA Cup. And third season was when he needed to start killing team and winning big. I think we are on right track with those encouraging words.

I think Kakuta just need the right club to explode. And I think going back to France will help him a lot. Hope AVB leaves him there for 2 years! A similar player is Canales. Very worth the hype like Kakuta, but just needed a club to exploit his style. He has done great at Valencia till he got injured. For creative player, I would love Chelsea to get Canales! It took Berbatov some time to get it going for United, and he would have continue if it wasn't for Hernandez that took his spot last season. After this season Torres at least deserves another season, and I will say without Drogba, Malouda and Kalou in the team. Giving space to some hungry passing wingers.

He did a wicked cross against Chelsea in the CL. Def. a good prospect to get for the price. Some people mention Kalou, and the problem with that is that if we had a stable manager, he would have spotted such a player to be sold. When you fire a manager and get a new one, then they each have to do their own evaluation, and by then you wasted another season. Hence I hope AVB stays for a long time!

I think he will be a descent signing. Besides Chelsea has not had great sucess in buying great named players, but those players that come from little to more.

No, it's just weird! Cause I am talking about la Liga, an el clasico and you come and mention something about what happen in a CL match. Two different things. If we want to talk about CL we talked about it in their respective place. Now I agree with "A cheetah never changes" cause Madrid never changes! And again, the term "majority" does not refer to everybody. You don't have to argue that case. You watch la liga and that's good. But then I am amazed that if you watched la Liga you don't see all the diving and cheating that comes from a club like Madrid when they play against other teams.....

The word most of you curtails to a majority not everybody. So if you are not one of them then great. But I am right that most posters here hardly watch la liga because it's a "2 team league" as most put it..... And last your experience about Barca comes with CL. CL and la liga are two different things. Don't go mixing the two things.

How much disparity there is between Real, Barcelona and the rest of the league in term of money received from TV! Then they complaint when a small team sits back and defend! You expect a team that was assemble with measly 10 mill to come and challenge your 200+ plus million team? ha they are having a laugh. It is why I have come to admired the PL a lot. And yes I am new supporter to the PL and Chelsea. I only came to knew Chelsea because of Roman and Mourinho. I was like fuck yeah when they eliminated Barcelona in the first year of Mourinho. I think after that is when I started liking them. I liked them even more when they lost the CL final against United. Any glory hunter fan would have jumped team by then, but I saw a great spirit from this team, especially from John Terry which brought tears to my eyes, and from then on this is the team I support from England.
