  1. You are right, look what I read about Cucu: Starting on the left-hand side of Chelsea's back three, Cucurella could be seen snapping into challenges right from the start of the game, setting the tone for an aggressive team performance from the hosts and, on an individual level, displaying restored confidence. Potter praised the defender afterwards for how he handled the criticism he faced earlier in the season and admitted his recent omissions had been a deliberate strategy to take him out of the spotlight. "I'm delighted for him," said the Chelsea boss in his press conference. "Obviously, when you are having a bad time like we are and we have had, you expect the criticism and you have to deal with it. "Marc has dealt with it well. We've tried to shield him a little bit and at the same time pick the moment. I thought tonight, regardless of his situation, the crowd were going to get behind us because it was the Champions League." https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12828409/champions-league-hits-and-misses-marc-cucurellas-redemption-reece-james-ben-chilwell-axis-shines
  2. Cucu as I mentioned I don't think he is good in LB. But should be try in another position. I still would like him to do DM. He might take over Kante position good.
  3. I'm sorry I don't buy this narrative. Both coaches did well because of the foundation Pep laid. It's similar to what happen to Chelsea, most managers that came in like Grant did good because of the foundation that Mourinho Mark 1 laid. Pep is in another galaxy compare to those two you mentioned. Now Pep has done the same at City, created a great foundation.
  4. Don't want Mourinho. I would rather take Lampard back then getting Mourinho back. But as far as coaches available I don't know who to get. If they want short term go with Bielsa, he will do good for a season or two and that's it.
  5. I don't think we should sell Gallagher. He still have a bright future for me. With Potter many players have looked bad this season. Remember how Rudgier was very bad until Tuchel came in? We should give Gallagher more time with us.
  6. that tends to happen a lot. Looked at us when the best we never won it, but in our decline.
  7. I don't think nothing will happen this season. But owner will start to freak out next season if we do more of the same.
  8. I think this year it's City. Doubt anyone will be able to stop City this year.
  9. If we want good fubtol Bielsa would be it. But he is also a problem with board and not to mention teams tend to fade after a season or two because he is high demanding.
  10. Yeah now I'm in the out crowd. There's no improvement. What a wrong pick from the owner.
  11. Grant being top surely shows how those stats are bias.
  12. It will be dumb to sell James. Chalobah I would like us to sell him although I'm not sure how much we get for him. Broja can't sell because of his injury. Must wait, and we don't know if he will be good when he comes back. Mount I want to stay but if he don't want to sign new contract we have no choice but to sell in the summer. Gallagher I'm torn, I would keep him in the summer if we can't get Mount to sign up new contract.
  13. I don't want Neymar, what a waste. We should let PSG get Lukaku. Lukaku over there might kill it. As well give them other dude, I much rather we spend money on DM. We need someone like Caicedo, Rice type of player. Don't know if we can get someone like them for less money it would be amazing. And a goalkeeper.
  14. We actually haven't had a player like this since Hazard. Definitely worth paying big for him in the summer.
  15. I have been very wrong. Show's how much I know about transfer. In the end it seems the January transfer window was the best we done in a while.
  16. Maybe not, he can help us build a nice team. Remember what Raniere did in building a team before we gave him the boot and got someone else better. If a top coach sees what we are building and the patience the owner has shown he might be interested as will see it's a bit different then under Roman. So not bad me thinks.
  17. I think that club is producing some good players. If I'm not mistaken Caicedo came from there. But as always with youth is a bit hit and miss for us. However if the new transfer committee are good at what they do they will hopefully do an improvement then previous outgoing regime for South America Scouting.
  18. Because of Conte, remember Conte made Moses look amazing. I hope Conte desires to get him because that is our only hope....unless Atletico wants to take a stab at him.
  19. Enzo and Jude I'm not sure unless we 3 in the mid then you might as well get Rice because we need a DM even if we get Jude.
  20. I think I come to the conclusion that he should be sold if we get a good price for him. Otherwise before he goes we need to get rid of other first, like Auba, Lukaku. But if no price then keep him but get rid of of these other two first.
  21. I wonder if Conte will want him. Obviously we won't get much money for him. I think if we can get 40 million we should take it. Without a doubt the worst transfer every in the history of Chelsea.
  22. He has been good in defense but I thought his passing was not that great like Silva in the last game. He might be a wall but his partner after Silva is gone would should a good passer.
  23. Two of Chelsea's January arrivals - Mykhaylo Mudryk and Noni Madueke - were influential going forward, but struggled to track back and Rice cited that as an area where West Ham were able to enjoy some success. He said: "With the team they put out they started really sharply, really quickly. They had some really, really good players on show. It took us a little while to get going and adapt to their system. "But once we found out their weakness, getting the ball down the sides of them and realised their wingers weren’t really tracking back. We managed to get the goal from that and exploit that. The last 20 minutes was there for us and we could have nicked it." https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/declan-rice-comments-joao-felix-29195651 Interesting comments by Rice...
  24. I figured they using the Arteta example, which is the one I always used. Makes sense, hence why I been saying that this season is a free pass for him. So I don't bother much with results in this season as many here. Just as long we are not in relegation, but I do hope that by the end of the season there's some positives to take.
  25. I wonder if Atletico will take a couple of players from us? You think they might want Lukaku?
