Any new coach that comes in would be amazing if they have JT as assistant. I think we need some of that here.

Still was idiots for firing tuchel. I don't have much faith in this owner getting it right.

“It was a shock,” Tuchel said on Friday. “I felt it, strangely, when I drove to the training centre. The meeting we had felt unusual – and it turned out to be a very short meeting. It was 8am, or something, and it lasted three to five minutes. I was also not in the mood to talk longer. “The decision had been made and, honestly, it was a shock for all of us. We had a feeling that we were in the right spot at the right time. We felt that we could achieve big things and we wanted to stay longer. We had big relationships, huge relationships within the staff. We still do. How long did it take me to get over? It still hurts in a way. “We built an extraordinary bond in the circumstances. We started there during Covid, during Brexit – then came the change of ownership. We were a strong, strong group. It wasn’t in my hands to take this decision. I was no longer part of a group that felt like a family.” https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/mar/31/Chelsea-anthony-barrys-bayern-munich-delay-champions-league-thomas-tuchel Likewise I was also shock. Still don't understand the decision with Todd of getting rid of him and go with Potter. Dumbest move ever....well close to, because signing Lukaku was the biggest ever and that came before him...

Yeah I agreed, unless we go for someone younger like Caicedo and stuff like that. But Zakaria should go back to Juve and Kova if he wants to go, I rather he goes abroad. Go to Bayern or something like that.
-
A good read about him. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/12844105/wesley-fofanas-physicality-defensive-prowess-and-ball-carrying-ability-is-making-the-difference-for-Chelsea Seems like the writer is impress with him.

How this will effect Newcastle and city? Maybe potential new Qatari owners of united as well?
-
If we wanted youth why didn't we went for Bielsa? He was good at that, and producing good futbol. That being said, I'm bum we will miss out on Nagelsman. He is the type of coach we need instead of Potter.

Tottenham interested in Nagelsmann replacing Antonio Conte as manager Nagelsmann available after shock dismissal by Bayern Munich Spurs expected to end Conte’s tenure after explosive rant https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/mar/24/tottenham-interested-in-nagelsmann-replacing-antonio-conte-as-manager Men i want him instead of Potter.

Would anyone want Conte back?

I say the same it's their year. Especially if they get to the final. On average the first you get there you tend to lose it, the second time you tend to win it. It's what tend to happens on average.
-
This year is Man City, i think they will win the CL.
-
I feel the same, but again it's up to him. From what I get is that Kova wants to move this summer.
-
Awesome analysis. That part of Felix for Gallagher I wasn't aware of it but makes sense. I'm sure Mount would have been better but too bad he wants to leave. So i guess potter will use Gallagher, which I'm fine, I rather give Gallagher a chance like the way we did with Mount. To me, Gallagher desires to be here, Mount does not care. He can go!
-
Yup he is good to have in the team especially giving his age he has maturity. If we can keep him good, if he wants to go then I hope he goes abroad.
-
Dang this guy is insane. We miss creativity in the mid.Jorginho never cut it. The best was fabregas in that role, But Enzo is a mix because he can tackle. Maybe he is more in the verrati type of mould.
-
Yes Mudryk definitely needs time. There's a lot to like about him. But Enzo my word is just what we needed, that creativity in the mid.
-
DM and goalkeeper we need to buy this summer. And a striker if we can get one. 3 places that need to address this summer.
-
Enzo definitely worth the money spent. So far mudryk not much but let's give him time. Maybe next season he might start getting there. I like Felix but he needs to stop the showboating so close to dangerous area
-
He has been good just that we screwed up because Felix try to showcase around our defense.
-
Felix fault. At times he has cost a lot.
-
Thanks for the info. What about then we are wasting the money that Roman wiped out? Since we owed some money to him?
-
We still looking to buy big if those rumors are true? I guess we are wasting the 1.5 billion they was going to spend in the club for the next 10 years?
-
I hope we sell KK but I'm not sure if that is possible with high wages. I'm afraid he is stuck with us. We also have Colwill coming back and he is very promising. So yes selling Chalobah will be much easier but I wonder who will want him and how much he will cost.
-
I don't think there's a good striker right now that I want. Victor is going to be hard especially with Napoli. And we have not fare well with strikers from Italy. Remember Lukaku killing it at Italy. I think Nkunku coming in and if we buy Felix we should be good for now. Let's focus on midfield and selling players this summer.
