I said it before and say it again, the best thing about Mourinho woeful season is that it got rid of Mourinho shadow. For many years no one stack to Mourinho, but after last season he set the lowest standards ever in the Roman era. And that finally put to rest that shadow that hang around the club and incoming managers. After last season I really hope the club sees thing different and lower their standards for incoming managers. And maybe this will work in favor of Conte. But again only if the club back the manager in the transfer window and not make stupid buys. If they are cutting back in transfer then they should seriously cut back their standards for the team.

I'm also with some, this is a great loan deal. If he can established himself there then he should be good next season for us. Although I would not mind two good seasons of loan like Andreas.

The only thing I hope is he lowers the expectation on coaches. If we are restrain in buying in the market because of the stadium then he must know and the board must understand that we will not be as a competitive. That being said the team we have is good enough to finish top 4. I think if we reach that this season it would be a good one. But as well if we see some massive improvement but fail to reach top 4 I would not take it as a bad season.

Well it wouldn't make sense to sack Conte unless he loses the dressing room. That was basically the sole reason to sack Mourinho. Because it's clear that the board and club don't have the ambition of winning anything. And if they do they are delusional and no manager will be able to deliver with such ways of them running thing.
