And that's what we expect of Conte at Chelsea. Conte created a great template at juventus and is one we liked to see here as well. It's what klopp is right now doing at Liverpool and did at Dortmund. These types of managers build something great that merits the time and support. That being said, besides Arsenal, city is the best place pep could have picked because of the board and owners. They are giving him free reign.

If Terry is still good for us at his age, then if we can get two good years from him while integrating younger players then cool.
-
Fabregas would be perfect for Serie A.
-
The thing is that we get a player like this that has one great season and hit their peek and keep them. Malouda was another case, one amazing season and instead of selling we keep such players on the books... If we want to challenge for cl again we need better. For now he's good, but also great that his playing to increase his value.
-
Good his doing this great, but we should sell him as soon as we can get an upgrade. Just like William you sell players that hit their peek.
-
I think my fears might be realized. And that was at the beginning of the season I thought Liverpool might win it because klopp is in his second season and he knows a bit more his team and the league. As to oppose to city and pep. I hope I'm wrong because I don't want to see Liverpool win it.
-
So we might have Abraham and Moses in the team. 😊

Merry to around would not be be bad if an average manager last 3 seasons. Can do a lot of damage in three seasons. Conte to me continues to show his good. Only reason to sack is if your bad and the only bad we had that merited short term sacking was Scolari and di Matteo. After that everyone should have had at least 3 years.
-
Hopefully he drops cahill with Terry back or when zouma is fit.... If he still got it.
-
Good feeling after seeing Ivanovic drop. Once Terrry is back without a doubt Cahill drop. But so far this is the best we can put out....sadly but that is what the board left us with.
-
Yeah but he wanted like 5 players in the summer after Kante and Bats. And the club didn't get anyone one except their choice at last minute window. He knew the team was crap but the club didn't do much.

Chelsea’s Antonio Conte says he has no magic wand to solve team’s problems Chelsea manager points out 10th place last season shows scale of his task John Terry to miss Saturday’s game at Hull after being kicked on ankle https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/sep/30/chelsea-antonio-conte-no-magic-wand

Cared to explain? Since he was the manager and he was implementing the style and getting the players he wanted.

Juan Mata more valuable to Jose Mourinho at Man United than he was at Chelsea Jose Mourinho says Juan Mata is far better suited to his current Manchester United team than the one he had at Chelsea. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/10597054/juan-mata-more-valuable-to-jose-mourinho-at-man-united-than-he-was-at-chelsea

All because of Klopp. He build that blueprint. And now he will do it with Liverpool. Conte Juventus ain't like that, but if we are close to them I won't complaint.
-
No there was no change. It was hot and cold. They didn't got any better till after the half of the season, but more towards the end.
-
Does not make sense. If he is injured and out of contract at the end of the season why pay 25million when you can get him for free? Do they even read what they post and think logically?
-
It's usually in the second season when you see the real work for majority of the managers. And about Pep, must I remind people that nothing is won this early! it's always hard to maintain such rhythm in the PL for an entire season. Do you remember us two seasons ago? How everyone and their mamma was hyping us to the quadruple.... Please people learn from history and stop being so knee jerk reaction.
-
Klopp? Are you serious? Then if your going by that example then you should wait. Because with Klopp it was also the same at the beginning, hot and cold. It was late in the season and now firmly this season that we see the real work.
-
Surely some protest about the way the club is being run would go a long way....
-
For a moment I thought this was real.
-
The problem as well is the fans. They don't voice their opinions. One of the few times was with Benitez, which to me was a doing a good job and then we screw it up by getting Mourinho.... Look at how Liverpool fans acted with the increase of prices and the club caved in to the demands. Our fans will never do that.
-
Tell that to the board. They spend stupid money on mediocre players and then sack the manager because he can't make it work.
-
Well that is what I was saying before, If Ivanavic is still playing ahead of our youth, then the academy sucks bad. Or like I keep saying for a while but the board stupidity continues, they hire managers that are not good with youth.
-
I still remember all the experts here bad mouthing Pep and that he was not good. They was all up over Mourinho and then Mourinho left them dissapointed last season..... All in due time, Pep is proving all the doubters wrong. Too bad our board is stupid that he was never attracted to us because of that. And of course they will continue to be stupid since they are still there.
