Sorry but we can't have a 'Messi' as a Backup...Honda is a class player who I wouldn't mind being a starter let alone giving us strength in depth. I can't believe he'd be available on a Free. Crazy! It might be difficult getting him to choose us though as he is guaranteed more playing time elsewhere. Having him in the squad would strengthen us as title challengers.

Did my (minimal) research on him. A striker/winger. His main strength seems to be a typically Brazilian one, flair/dribbling. I think we'd be getting him to fill in a squad type role. He is not the striker we are going for as an alternative to Ba. He will probably be a Sturridge replacement, playing some handful of games on the wings. I definitely think we need another Body to give depth to the 3 behind the striker, even before Moses going away for ACON. Right now we have Moses (Winger) and Marin (Playmaker), the latter who barely even plays (that needs to change. He migh never be a world class player but definitely a great squad one). I think there are better options, like Honda, Willian, Walcott or maybe even Nani but anyone with Talent will be welcomed. What will the fee be? I've read his value is about £10 million? I'd try to push that down a smidget. If not, its fine. He won't affect our pursuit of a Striker (Ba, Villa, Negredo etc) though.

The risk associated with Ba and the fact Moses is going to ACON means we really should go after Villa.

I don't think anyone would argue a London XI would be dominated with Chelsea players. Notice no Cazorla (in the starting lineup) and that is because, quite simpy, Mata is better. Hazard and Bale are different sorts of players who would provide width and speed so are not in contention with Cazorla.

Rest some players. Don't leave the League Cup to make a mass of changes to give rest to players. The league cup is one of our only chances at Silverware. We need to take it very seriously if we are going to get anything from this season.

Brilliant from us. A Very good goalscorer for so cheap and we're going to get him in within the first few days of the Window. Just waiting until he replaces Torres as first choice then we have a chance at the title. Torres can play against the Weaker sides.

Cannot wait until he replaces Torres. Torres is back to his usual self. Flashes of good play and nothing much else. He (Torres) had a couple good chances which Ba would have put away. That's the difference a goal scorer makes (Van Persie is the best example and is the reason ManUre are where they are on the Table). He could thrive here. He has 13 goals in the league so far, a very good return. Imagine with our MaZaCar behind him.

I reckon he could bang them in with Hazard, Oscar, Mata, Moses, Marin behind him. Nothing to lose with such a small release clause and is almost certain to be a lot better than Torres. How many goals does Ba have this season? Finally we're building a strikeforce. His aquisition could almost guarantee us a top 3 finish.

I read he'd be worth around £20 million which is very good). If not, Villa (Loan/Buy). -Recall Essien In the summer if Torres is still his usual shit self then Falcao or Cavani.

Would he even come here though? He won't get much, if any more playing time here than at Arsenal. Don't get me wrong, I'd take him on a free or very cheap Price but as someone mentioned above he is basically Sturridge 2.0 (With a better attitude and more patience though).
