There is literally no need to call him back. I'm sure Lampard will leave in the summer not this window. We have Essien to recall. Recalling KDB will take away a good 4 months off his loan spell where he is growing and devloping so well. I would recall him in the summer for next season and have him as a player who gets plenty of starts (Can play just about anywhere in the attacking half and midfield) but is not quite starter. I think he still has little bit of development to go but by the end of his loan spell he'll practically be a Chelsea level player.

What is then? 4-3-2-1 is our best formation considering we don't have a lot of pure wingers and a lot of players who want to play behind the striker.

We'll surely buy ir recall a CM. With Mikel going to ACON we are suicidal if we don't. We basically have 2 CM's (Rambo/Lamps), a converted one (Luiz) and a AM who can play as one. We need bodies there. Recall Essien is the best option especially as Sahin is going back to Madrid. I wouldn't mind a winger/AM for backup.

Damn. I think he could be great for them considering the way they play. Villa could fit like a glove for them, just like he could have for us However its apparent Barca only want to sell him not loan him so he's no longer the right option for us. Part of me wants to see him succeed and part of me wishes he is past it (which I doubt he is).

I hope he can get even better but even his current level is really good. 3rd highest goal scorer in the league (2nd until a few days ago). We'll probably see a big improvement now and we have just about cemented a top 4 spot. What we were missing so much was not only goals, but a fucking presence up front.

He'll be very good for us. He'll get even more chances and perform better with our quality team. Please. He must start against Southampton.

His work rate shouldn't matter. He does seem lazy and static (doesn't make many runs) but he is poacher and can stick them in the back of the net. I don't think he is that great. Good, yes, but not special...yet. If we get Higuain the likes of Cavani and Falcao are probably completely ruled out. I would really prefer we wait and get Cavani instead.
