I really don't know why people are 'dissapointed' and feel like he may fail at Chelsea. I'm fully expecting Marin to be a very good player at Chelsea. He is better than all our options on the wing. I expect an Ozil like transformation of Marin. He cost just 8 Million, so no matter what that was a Bargain.

Win the QPR, Newcastle, and Blackburn games and it's ours. We can afford to drop points at Anfield

If we're wiling to pay 35 million for him why not for Hazard? Hazard will become twice the player Hulk is. It's a baseless rumour I know but if it's true it will be another example of our Idiocy in the Transfer Market.

Good signing, good value as well. Looks like for once we've done some good business. His age tells me we've bought him to be a starter, or at least a Meireles type player in that he will be starting plenty of games but also be on the bench plenty of games. I hope though, that this does not rule out Hazard. De Bryune will probably go on one more loan spell. From what I've read and seen of Marin he's a traditional winger and Pacey. I think, like Mata he will get better and adapt well to the EPL. Also to my knowledge, Lukaku was used in the deal. He'll be going on loan to Bremen next season

Agreed, The likes of Cole, Drogba, Lampard, Terry, Kalou, Malouda, Essien have just about won everything, except the UCL. If they win that than they won't have anything left to accomplish or play for. Most of them would need to go.

If Guardiola leaves (looks inevitable) he will not manage any other team. He'll take a break for a year. Mourinho has ruled himself out, and I believe him. Not winning the UCL with such a great Madrid team means he's still got unfinished business. That leaves no-one really. Those are the only 2 I would have chosen ahead of RDM but since they're not going to come RDM is the obvious choice.

The Final feels like an eternity away

The game to do it is Probably the FA Cup Final, 14 days before the UCL Final. I'd like to win the FA Cup so I hope to see a near full strength team. For the QPR, Newcastle and Liverfool league games we should have a mixture of Subs/Reserves and First Teamers, mostly Subs and Reserves though.

First off, I doubt you have to worry about the Essien-Mikel partnership. Mata will most likely play as CAM meaning it will be a Mikel-Lampard partnership in DM. The Lampard-Mikel partnership has been high class. Mikel has become a good holding player and Lampard has re-invented himself in a deeper role. It will be a solid partnership. I don't know about your defence, but ours is definitely in good shape. Luiz-Cahill partnership has been very good and Solid. We can cope without JT just fine. He got sent of against Barcelona and we defended just as well.
