I don't have a problem with him getting charged, but I do have a problem with the FA's consistency when charging/not charging players for violent conduct. Why do some players escape punishment when it's even more deliberate and intentional than others? Also where was the media and the back pages on the papers with 'Sterling crime!' after he deliberately attempted to punch a Swansea player?
-
His work ethic is phenomenal, will probably get banned though.
-
He's good but Coutinho is the real star of their team. Sterling gets all the hype though.
-
Why is everyone always having to cover for Ivanovic at RB, fs.
-
What about Taison
-
He's been decent but he hasn't been given enough of a chance to be more than decent. Feel a bit sorry for him considering he wanted to be here, but at top clubs it's ruthless.
-
You can tell he really wanted to be here, which is the sad part. Unfortunately in a top team when you get a chance you have to take it, maybe Andre just needed a run of games which didn't happen (like KdB). In an ideal world I'd prefer him to stay & sign no one if he was given more chances. If he's going to start 1 match every month then he should go.
-
Considering there is about 3/4 reported figures and the club never announced the fee, I'd hazard a guess that they are all just.. guessing. Nevertheless I'd tend to believe Sky over DM/Other papers recycling what DM have said.

£25.5m http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8893587/transfer-news-chelsea-complete-signing-of-willian-from-anzhi-makhachkala
-
Assuming we pay the full release clause (£26,8m?), it's more expensive.
-
Haven't seen much of him. But a tad more expensive than Willian but only marginally better seems the general consensus. Guess I'll have to wait and see if it happens. Unfortunate for Andre :-(
-
It can be good and bad at the same time. Why lose the ball unnecessarily doing things 100mph like a Schurrle or Oscar tend to do? But at the same time you can slow the game down and kill momentum, like Hazard also did sometimes.
-
Keep hearing Sanchez this Sanchez that, his general play every time I've seen him has been poor. So sloppy on the ball.
-
It would be funny to see him play second fiddle to Costa, but other than that, no ty.
-
His performances recently have been top class after a slight 2-3 game dip in December. Every time he touches the ball he just oozes quality. Unfortunately neutrals will only appreciate how good he actually is if he leaves us.
-
City will probably try to associate him as one of their own like they've done with Patrick Vieira. Wouldn't surprise me if he gets some sort of coaching role their after he's retired.
-
Pros - A new challenge. He has achieved everything at Barca & is at an age where it could be a last chance to play at a high level in another league. Won every trophy to win, is La Liga highest goalscorer, and Barca's highest goalscorer. - The tax issue in Spain - His wife loves Cesc's bird - The Adidas/Turkish Airlines connection - All these little social media teases Cons - Seems a little coordinated just to put pressure on Barca - Funding the transfer Highly unlikely but if it did ever happen it would instantly propel us as one of the truly elite clubs in the world

Best player in the league along with Aguero
-
Terrible defensively. I hold Brana partly or fully responsible for atleast 3 of their goals. Him and Cahill were awful. One of those games where they scored every chance they had (even half chances) and we didn't take all of ours. Need to move on, Brana needs to be given a few games off after that. And Hazard was the best player on the pitch.
-
Plz hold on Burnley!
-
I thought the difference between that and Arsenal is that we had a lot of penetration down the sides of the box and it took a lot of last ditch defending & luck of the bounce to deny us. With Arsenal they just pass it around, lose it, then get countered, concede, and lose 3-0.
-
If you look at it as narrow minded as that, then respectfully I would agree.
-
Bit baffled by some of these comments. It was far from the likes of the Sunderland and Newcastle games, where we were passing it side to side, slow, with no runners anywhere. Today we actually got to the byline numerous times but the final ball wasn't there, and we just didn't get that bit of luck with the bounce (and they defended well). Great 2nd half performance for me.
-
Thought that was the best we've played for a while in the league. Sloppy for the goal but they defended well to. Could've won easily but I can't complain about the performance.
