I do agree with most of what you have said but lets not completley rule out winning with a squad that is ultimately building for the future. We have seen Man U do it since the mid 90's. You can still play with youth in the side but in order to compete with the top sides you need experience that is familiar with the clubs set up. The Lampards, Terry's and Coles of Chelsea should pull our youth through like Giggs, Scholes and others have done so for Man United. Also stability in management and back room staff can push a club a long way, just look at Man U and Everton. Everton more so for their lack of funds proove this theory to be right but our loveable but insane owner just keeps on upsetting the apple cart. Who knows what the future holds for Chelsea but we can all look forward to an unpredictable one.

No. Under RDM we were starting to play without a defence at all like we did under AVB. TFSW has simply tightened our defence up again making us a harder team to break down but still with a very high attacking mind implied. The board craves sexy and attacking football but they also expect our team being able to defend and that's what RDM was starting to lose, the balance.

Yes I do believe you are correct. He has never been capped by the senior national team meaning getting a work permit will not be easy seeing as he isn't exactly an exceptional talent. Plus I can't see why we would rather this guy than Will.I.an who is a far better player IMO.
