I really don't know. It is a lot of money for a soon to be 30 year old. You have to look at the market and then assess how badly we need a World Class defender and how soon do we need one. Taking those factors into considerationand lets not forget that we are still fighting to get a CL spot... then I would say, pay whatever it takes.

In our case we do need 10 new players though!!! And you can understand why he brings in soo many new players when joining a new club. Just look at how our current squad reacts towards change. I think Pep not only brings in soo many new players to fit his system but also to start with a philosophy that is fresh for them individualy and as a team. Imagine him trying to implement his ideas with our starting eleven. It would actualy be comical to watch.. even more painful that watching them try to adopt Contes philosophy.

He should be used like Messi is used at Barca. Come deep in the middle and build attacks with short quick passing or dazzling runs. Unfortunately we don't have many players who possess a footballing I.Q over conference level.

Like the lad a lot but he needs to work on his finishing. It has looked less than convincing in the little we have seen from him. He has failed to take easy chances in all showings tbh. He has to stay given Costas disciplinary record but if he doesn't wear his shooting boots then It will be extremely hard for him to steak a real claim in the side.

Well we all know how good of a footballer Bonucci is. The question is wether he is worth the figures suggested at the ripe age of 29 years old?

The sad truth. A result of the revolving door of Cobham. I have always wondered if the players ever speak up though. Why doesn't Chalobah approach Conte and say, "look bro, I use to play that position and I can show Gary how to play it against Hull on Saturday if you let me".

It cant get much worse than Cahill and Luiz. Or can it? I really rate Chalobah. I feel he would be best suited in the defensive mid role but if it means we get to see the back of Gary Fail, I will be a happy man.

I would rather see him give that position a try instead of Cahill. At least then we could actually play from the back.

Didn'the Chalobah start his career as a Center back? Or am I wrong?
