Tbf I did see him talk to Bats first after the whistle and he was rushing to get Bats on. Even so he should have been brought on earlier like you said.

That was soo good to watch. Pedro was on fucking fire. Loved every minute of that game even when Courtois was called into action. We were relentless. Gone are the days of scoring then playing like absolute twats for 60 minutes. Subbing Bats on like that was abit harsh for the lads confidence... not sure why he would do that tbh. Also have to say... Willian was getting a bashing at half time, rightly or wrongly so... he was brilliant in the second half.

I loved what I saw in that half. The goal was fantastic. Brilliant build up play. Conte is the man.

100% agree. I do not want to see Cesc starting without Kante in the midfield. Cesc was a huge problem last year. His legs let us down defensively and the improvement of Kante coming in is beyond. obvious. Has to be Chalobah starting alongside Matic for me.

But I don't understand this notion that our team lacks tremendous quality. We have Eden Hazard, Deigo Costa, Pedro, David Luiz, Azpi, Kante, Matic, Courtois, Fabregas and the list goes on. They have all won major trophies and play Internation football. We are not over acheiving this season. We were under acheiving last season.

He passed back to Fabregas because he doesn't trust his own ability to go on and do something magical. He also doesn't have the footballing intelligence to make up for his lack of ability. In result he is bang average in nearly every aspect of his footballing catalouge. He can dribble at speed and hit a ball well. That is it.

Unfortunately I could not watch the match but I know from previous that Azpi never gets the prais he deserves from commentators.

He is easily (for me) as good as Phillip Lahm was in his prime and Lahm was World Class if not the best RB in the world. So yes, for me Azpi is one of, if not the best RB in the World right now.
