Conte handled the Costa situatiom exactly how he should have, like a boss.
Costa was acting like a child. He got put in his place and instead of acting like a man and taking it on the chin (like Luiz) he sulked until he got his move.
The sad thing is with this club is that it doesn't take much to lose the dressing room. At the first sign of a season going bad the players act like a bunch of girls and start throwing their toys out the pram.
It feels as if everything I watch in relation to football this year results in the worse possible out come. I might just stop watching until the end of the season.
No, he will be remembered for winning the league in his FIRST season with a bunch of overpaid Z list celebraties, who then fell out with the board. Only the 🤡s who support this club will pin Edens departure on Conte.
Nobody and I mean not one fan would begrudge Eden for leaving after sticking by us through the painstaking football he has to endure year after year. We could have built something truly special around this guy. Some of you may call me crazy for saying that we have not done great things with Eden because he has titles in his cabinet... but it really could have been more, sooo much more. Good luck in your next adventure Eden.
I can. I'm surprised you forget how he carried us for most of last season. When he stopped playing in the last quarter of the season, our results started to reflect his form.
I really don't want to hate, I'm trying my hardest not to but seriously, how the fuck has the lad managed to wear our badge???????
It's a fucking pisstake.
Our current form and position in the league and cup competitions would and still could be a blessing in disguise. No pressure to perform and it allows him to settle in.
I turned football off after the final whistle.
I understand where you are coming from in terms of tactics but I can't let the list of average players stop there, new signings or not.
Drinkwater, Bakayoko, and Zappacosta should all be on that list.
Neville doesn't agree with calling for Wengers head publicly after what he has achieved wiith the time he has spent there. You have to rememebr Neville played against Wengers Arsenal many times... when they were a top, top side. So maybe he is a little bias towards Wenger because of sentimental reasoning. This doesn't mean he can't criticise individuals who play for Wenger under his current rule.
