I don't think I'm going to pre-order this one. I'll rather wait till around Christmas when we get to have those nice golden FIFA badges between the Chelsea and Adidas logos after winning first the UCL and then FIFA Club World Cup.

A Barcelona fan complaining about other team's diving. Wow, never thought I'd live to see the day.
-
Feels unreal, please don't be a dream. Cahill, Drogba and pretty much every player wearing a blue shirt were immense.
-
Not many surprises in that lineup. Would imagine Mata being on the wing and Meireles behind Drogba? No Pique for Barcelona sounds good because Adriano sucks at LB and neither of their centre backs Mascherano and Puyol can challenge Drogba in the air. Anyone fancy a set piece goal?
-
0-0 wouldn't be as good a result as some are suggesting, just look what happened to Milan. A 1-0 win would do just fine.
-
Of course but I'd say it's a little arrogant for them to think their opponents will just make the pitch on their own stadiums to be just the way the away team likes it to be and therefore reduce their home advantage. Wouldn't that be a bit counterproductive? When Barcelona are already the better side then why should they be helped by these little things too rather than try narrowing the gap between the teams by making them play on a pitch they're clearly not comfortable playing on?
-
That's what annoys me a lot about Barcelona. Their fans and even the whole club itself have become so fucking arrogant after a couple of glorious years and now they think all their opponents will just peacefully bend over and be raped without even putting up a fight. The pitch at San Siro was horrible when they played against Milan but so fucking what? It was in a bad condition when they played against Arsenal too and even Wenger, who usually whines like a baby over little things, just shut up and admitted that Milan were the better side. And what do Barcelona do? They lodge an official complaint to UEFA about the pitch condition and like the whiney hypocrites they are they then send Guardiola to tell the media they're better than the rest and a big club like Barcelona doesn't cry over such matters. In addition to games in Europe they cry over pitch conditions in their domestic league as well. Barcelona and Real Madrid fuck over the smaller clubs by unfairly taking more money from TV revenue than the other 18 clubs combined whereas in the PL every team receives pretty much the same amount of money. In Spain the smaller clubs can't even pay their players' wages properly and these arrogant motherfuckers think it's fair to demand that every club should have their pitches in pristine condition because that's the way they like to play football. Bitch please. edit: I take back my words regarding Arsene Wenger. It seems he was being a whining cunt after all.

----------Drogba---------- Ramires--Mata--Studge ------Lamps--Mikel------ Cole--Terry--Cahill--Iva -----------Cech----------- My Starting XI for the match. Not many changes from Tottenham so some of them may be tired but placing the likes of Malouda, Meireles or Essien in their current form in the starting lineup against a quality team like Barcelona sounds even worse.
-
Brych was solid in the Chelsea - Napoli QF. Didn't make any big mistakes and most of the minor decisions went our way. A good choice by UEFA.
-
And how would that work exactly?
-
Those Napoli fans were quite nice.
-
Scored the winning goal in 2-1 victory over WBA in August, second round of the season.
-
If it ain't broken then don't try to fix it. If playing Kalou for the rest of the season instead of Sturridge gives us a better chance to win the FA Cup and possibly even the long-awaited Champions League title I'm all for it and let's worry about the future of Chelsea in the off-season.
-
Di Matteo knows what he's doing. 9 wins in 12 games says it all really. I wouldn't mind if it was Paulo fucking Ferreira playing on the wing as long as we get the results. If / when things start to get worse I'll come and moan about Kalou playing instead of Studge but now I'm just happy about the results.
-
Hard to say even from that angle if it was a goal or not but at least based on that picture there's absolutely no way Spurs fans can go on about them being robbed or something. It was five fucking goals to their pathetic one goal and that ghost goal (if it even was that) aside the ref had a solid game. Any news on Luiz yet? It looked a bad injury.
-
Agreed. Start with Drogba and if it's clearly not working then bring on Torres in the second half. Torres can start against Arsenal next weekend.
-
Bale is very much overrated because of those goals against Inter last season in the UCL and also he's a pathetic diving cunt. No thanks.
-
The moment you realize that the opponent must be pure shit is when even Malouda can score against them. A fantastic result which is unfortunately a bit less exciting when the referee gives goals out of nothing but luckily for us it didn't turn out to be the decisive goal or we'd never hear the end of it. Bring on Barcelona in the UCL semis and Scumpool in the FA Cup Final. :cfc: :cfc:

Clark's "foul" from another angle. And as usual, the ignorant United fans trying to justify the penalty by saying there was a contact.
-
double post
-
Was hoping for Danny to start on the left instead of Kalou and Ferreira at RB but other than that a good team. Torres in on the second half for Kalou if it isn't working by then.
-
Disgusting player that Ashley Young.
-
Wouldn't worry much about Malouda because he's probably off in the summer. Perhaps Meireles too.

Livorno midfielder Morosini dies during Serie B game
Jype replied to LDN Blue's topic in Football Chat
The man certainly did not have things easy in his life and to die like that it's just horrible. RIP -
After they had signed Sigurdsson on loan I knew it would be a mistake to send Josh to Swansea when they had quite many midfielders already and with Sigurdsson it was just too much for McEachran to handle. I know it's no use saying this now but if even I could predict it before the transfer the question is why the fuck could Chelsea board not do the same?
