  1. Bayern probably get 25% also and the rest goes to neutrals and UEFA sponsors and other associates.
  2. Also he would be very much like AVB with his tactis and terrible man-management. The man simply does not know any other styles of football than Barcelona's tiki-taka or whatever the fuck it's called. AVB tried something like that when he was at Chelsea and when it didn't work with the players he had he was clueless so what makes people think Guardiola would be any better? The only one I would even think about giving the job is Mourinho and as it turns out he may not even be available so that leaves only one choice and that is to stick with our very own Roberto Di Matteo.
  3. Any proof of this? Someone must have made a truckload of money on that if they really had 1000/1.
  4. Bosingwa and Malouda. If my math isn't off that makes two people. :eyebrows:
  5. Last I heard he was back in training. QPR probably comes too soon for him and with all the suspensions in the UCL final there's no way we can risk him so soon or we'll end up playing Bosingwa as centre back against Bayern / Real.
  6. At least it's not Chris Foy. Interesting to see who's going to play with Terry in central defense. Bosingwa, Ferreira, Romeu, Essien, Mikel, Hutchinson and Chalobah the options. I'd probably go with Chalobah but that's not going to happen.
  7. Cech ; Cole, Luiz, Cahill, Bos ; Lampard, Mikel ; Malouda, Mata, Kalou ; Drogba There's just no way we can experiment with things like Torres on the wing in a Champions League final so there's really not a lot of options. Anyone else fancy Kalou to score a lucky tap-in as the winning goal?
  8. If I'm not mistaken his contract expires at the end of the year because he's playing in Russia and their seasons go on different cycles than in European leagues. So maybe he wouldn't be free in the summer but with only 6 months left on his contract at most he would still be much cheaper than other options. Got to say I haven't seen enough of his games to tell if he's good enough for Chelsea but at least on Football Manager he turns out fine.
  9. I don't give a fuck which one it is going to be, I'm just so happy we're actually in the final. Who would've thought after Napoli first leg?
  10. At least I'm not alone to have voted for Bosingwa. Maybe his performance wasn't absolutely the best but considering he came in from the bench and played out of position he did brilliantly. He usually gets a lot of stick when he plays bad so he just has to be given credit when he finally delivers and that's why I named him MotM.
  11. Absolutely gutted for the fact that he and Ramires are going to miss the final.
  12. Never been so excited about a football match before in my life, what a night this has been. At half-time I had almost given up when playing with 10 men against UEFalona and then they even got the penalty. The lads all fought admirably till the very end against one of the best teams in the history of football and then Torres of all people goes on and scores the crucial goal. You just couldn't make this stuff up. Shame about the suspensions though. Anyone fancy a back four of Bertrand - Bosingwa - Ferreira - Cole, if Luiz and Cahill don't make it in time?
  13. No matter what happens in the final, it'll be "a fucking disgrace" if he doesn't get the job after this.
  14. Who the fuck is Leo Messi? We have Gary Cahill.
  15. Four more hours till kick-off. Hell, it feels like four years.
  16. Rumors of him going to Lille on loan next season. If the idiots at Chelsea board decide De Bruyne isn't yet good enough to play for Chelsea then I'd say Lille is probably one of the best teams he could go on loan to because he'd probably fit right in their starting lineup as a replacement for Hazard who's 100% to leave them after this season. Also they're almost certain to qualify in the Champions League next season. On another note, loaning De Bruyne to them would probably increase our chances of getting Hazard to Chelsea.
  17. No more controversial ghost goals against Spurs if this happens.
  18. Apparently Messi missed training yesterday.
  19. Krul would have deserved it imo, but wasn't even nominated. edit: PFA Player of the Year goes to Van Persie, as expected.
  20. From Mata's twitter. That's just brilliant.
  21. Liverpool are a joke. Only team to have got less points than them in 2012 is Wolverhampton.
  22. I'm so jealous of that picture.
  23. Genoa - Siena match suspended at 0-4 when Genoa ultras started a riot and demanded their players take off their shirts because they're not worthy of them. Standing ovation for Siena players when they left the pich but they're not letting their own team leave. Only in Italy can something like this happen.
  24. -----------------------Drogba----------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- Bertrand-Lampard-Mikel-Meireles-Ramires ------------------------------------------------------- Cole-----------Terry------Cahill--------Ivanovic -----------------------Cech------------------------- Hope for 0-0 or some counter-attacking away goal which would make things much easier.
  25. He played mostly up front with Jelavic today. Still, what an amazing player. Title race wide open with that result. Now it's just like last year when we chased their lead and would have taken the first place had we beaten them at Old Trafford but now it's Man City who can take their place at the top of the table if they win United next week.
