Caceido looks slightly behind fitness wise - but I will be honest and say he has surprised me from his ball skills. Very nice passer. I knew he was composed on the ball - but he really whips it around the field nicely.

"I've been watching football since before you were born" I'll let you figure out who made that argument in this thread. Look through your post history as a hint!

Jackson sucks guys. He can't roll those in. They have to be top corner for emphasis. That is 2.5-0. Not 3-0.
-
I get that he made one or two mistakes today - but he looks solid. To be fair to him, he was put in a bad situation when he lost the ball.
-
Enzo is smart. That is a perfect Man City foul there.
-
Crying all game isn't an opinion.
-
Jackson has been our best player this second half. Like how you left that out lol. Goes against your BS earlier though.
-
Most of you have been too busy crying today to maybe have noticed - but every time Caceido has started an attack for us, it has generally resulted in something nice up the other end.
-
Nah mate, he is terrible I've heard. Should have banged in 6 by now.
-
Wild to me how anyone is criticising Jackson considering the runs he is making and how many balls he wins back in the opposition third. There hasn't been great service today and he is still making it work.
-
I think Conor has played quite well - but just for where he is playing we need more creativity which would open up the game a bit more for us.
-
Needs to be top corner every time even if he is slapping it in with his hand.
-
We're really nitpicking now aren't we...

You're not from Orange County in the USA by chance are you rob?
-
Think I'm done reading this forum for a while. People on here have the resilience of a spoilt rich kid from Orange County who couldn't get their pumpkin spice latte and have acted like their days ruined.
-
We just need to string 3 wins together so people can shut the fck up. Its just annoying at this point.
-
Wonder what this is about?
-
Yeah, I feel there are a lot more variables to it than that such as who else was on the pitch and opponents played, etc. Even from just an eye test - it has appeared that way to me recently.
-
I think football these days starts from the very back, and being able to get the ball up and down the pitch quickly is key. I'll probably get some hate for this, but I think Silva shouldn't be playing as much as he does. He is solid in the back, but I do feel he often slows our play down and keeps the tempo on the lower end of things. It was somewhat like Zlatan at Man United. He was scoring and still a great player, but I don't think he fits with what we are trying to do.

I'm not entertaining it, nor are others from what I see. Overreacting to 2 games in the season is what I'm talking about. Our team is pretty deeply injured at the moment, and our new signings haven't even all played. Let us play a game with 4 at the back and have our new signings on the pitch at least.
-
Some people here really are just glory chasers. Now, now, now.
-
We are 2 games in...

Rob - in this thread you say you're not researching and haven't seen some players play. Then in the board one - you say that the players we bought are rubbish, not ready and we don't have the pieces needed. Is it just fair to say our team might be decent - but we got off to a rough start? It is so easy to say we need a player who can pass, shoot, dribble, never lose the ball, etc lol... This is a made up player. The squad is good enough. People just aren't patient. Not only that, it has a character and build to it. We're clearly building a very robust and dynamic team. We have a lot of strong and quick players who can carry the ball.

Seasons over by the sounds of things. Might as well pack it in, play the youth and focus on next season by the sounds of people on the board here.

We're a preseason in with a manager known for developing talent. We haven't even seen all our signings actually play a full game yet. We haven't been able to play the formation we've played in preseason. Just give it a little... Once the signings who are meant to be starters get in, then less pressure on some of the current guys and better suited on the bench as impact roles, then the system starts making sense. The hard work and repetitive positive motions become results, etc. Would it have been great to have them do what Cesc and Costa did the first game they played? Sure. But - these are younger players, there has been more disruption, and they are getting there. We've looked better. That is a start.
