  1. No. But currently he is at Chelsea... I'm saying in the unlikely case everyone is injured... he is there.
  2. We aren't challenging for the title next season. Top 4 with that lot is possible though. They get more experience through playing. The core we have is pretty damn talented. This season is about seeing what works and sure up the gaps from there.
  3. If we get Caceido and get rid of Gallagher - I think keeping Santos and Casadei in the team to grow is perfect. Both look good enough to fill minutes IMO. You have Reece who can slot into DMF as well. Kudus comes in - and you have the CAM position locked up with him and Nkunku, and also Mudryk who can rotate into there. ST - Jackson, Broja, Nkunku LW - Mudryk, Sterling, Maatsen RW - Madueke, Kudus, Ziyech CAM - Nkunku, Kudus, Mudryk CM - Enzo, Caceido, Casadei, Santos There is enough there.
  4. So no Caceido. That is fine. I think he is a beast defensively, but limited offensively. Money can be spent more efficiently.
  5. Appreciate it Vesp. 🙂 I was just looking at Notting Hill area as well. If anyone here can help an Aussie get two tickets for the Arsenal-Chelsea game on the 21st of October as well, that would be brilliant.
  6. If Trev and Conor both leave - it would be nice to see Kudus come in, but what would that mean for our CB options? Levi, Badiashille and Silva?
  7. Vesp - I noticed your bio says you're in South Kensington. The missus and I are heading over to London in October - and I've been looking at accomodation but don't know where to settle on. Would you say the South Kensington area is better than Hyde Park/Paddington for getting around to sites and attractions? Obviously closer to Stamford Bridge which is nice - but would be good to get a perspective. 🙂 Off topic, but would appreciate the help. 🙂
  8. ST - Jackson, Broja, Nkunku RW - Madueke, Angelo LW - Mudryk, Sterling CAM - Nkunku, Gallagher, Mudryk Why not just get Kudus who can cover all roles aside from LW if anything were to happen in terms of injuries?
  9. At this rate - a few seasons in Al Hilal and Lukaku can buy Inter and play for them if he wishes.
  10. Looks like a bulldog kinda like Bernardo Silva. Wouldn't expect him to be tough and hard to push off the ball. Not just that, very shifty. Great find.
  11. This Angelo kid looks insane. Was he the one everyone was moaning about because he had no decent stats in the Brazilian league?
  12. Get those out of you in preseason Levi.
  13. All the stats told you that Jackson was a good striker - and he looks it on the pitch as well. Stats and eye test go hand in hand with him. I know we're playing against 10 - but Casadei looks great in the midfield as a calming presence. Gusto, Casadei, Jackson, Colwill all look good enough for heavy minutes/starting.
  14. I'd like to see Casadei. Dude looked solid in our first game. Seems like he stabilises the midfield.
  15. Yeah made some piercing runs. Good ball carry option. Actually looks at the goal unlike RLC used to.
  16. Am I the only one that thinks our backline gets pressed easily and plays pass back to the goalkeeper far too often? This isn't a now thing, but has been around for 2 odd seasons now. Feels like other teams can keep teams pressed a bit easier, and keep the passing in the opposition half, where as we look to retain possession by playing it back, and passing around the keeper until we can go forward again. It has proven to be very ineffective.
  17. Our link up play looks a lot nicer in those quick passing sequences. We just struggle to hold the ball up in the midfield and pass it around higher up the field though. Just never look comfortable. Always pass it around our backline instead. It isn't threatening.
  18. I don't typically comment on shit like this - and I don't mean this in an offensive way because I don't know you - but this is spoken like a true asshat. I see this written a lot about women getting back with abusive men - and especially when they are famous and rich, young men rag on these women saying it is because of the money, and they are just gold diggers, etc. If you do some research you'll see the amount that go back, whether their husband is rich or not. These women are abused, mentally broken at times, and fearful. If someone is so afraid and broken that they can't leave something they know is bad for them, it is the moment you should have the most empathy and understanding. I say this as a matter of fact, no nonsense kinda guy who typically gets accused of being too facts/data driven. Anyway - back to Chelsea transfers - and calling you an asshat was meant in the Australian banter way. Much love.
  19. Defensively - he is the best statistically out of Caceido, Rice, etc. So... maybe they are banking on that.
  20. All we need is two midfielders and I think we have a great squad to work with. Don't have to buy some flash striker now if nothing is available. We've got enough goal threat upfront now with Jackson/Nkunku/Sterling and some others.
  21. Sterling, Madueke, Mudryk, Nkunku, Ziyech and Gusto who can all play wing... What do we need more for?
  22. Lukaku is 3 times more talented than Diego Costa, more imposing and physical, and has ties to the club through his childhood heroes, yet he showed not even 10% the fight Costa did, who was a mercenary to put it the best of ways. This dude is such a grifter - through and through. Spoiled brat.
  23. Caceido and one more of Lavia, Thurman, Onana, etc would be nice. Just get a cheap bully. Even Kessie would be fine if he can be gotten for a decent price.
