I mean if we get Lavia and Caicedo - we don't need any new midfielders for the next 10 years. You have Santos, Casadei and Ugo as the massive potential guys in the wings as the other foundations if the other two don't work out. All that paired with Enzo who is another foundational piece for the next 10 years.
I think the "project" that they are trying to sell players on that are coming here is getting the young pieces in now that will be together for 7-10 years and dominate world football. The new management see Barca, who went through, didn't make too many changes - but had so much time together to gel and become great as the staple or vision.
