Cannot tell you how relieved I am to see this side scoring 2 goals a match on a continuous basis.

Nah fam, that Azpi ar LB gig is up. Right footed RB, Left Footed LB. enough is enough. we're not a reinventing the wheel here at Chelsea by playing ONE inverted full-back. If it were two, maybe, but playing one has seriously hampered our attacking play. Azpi's not ambidextrous like Baba, and even after playing at LB for 2 years now, he has no confidence in his left foot. Seeing Azpi have to shift the ball to his right foot to play any type of pass wastes so much time. Secondly, Hazard is left to do all the leg work by himself on the wing, and defenders can easily double team him. Atleast with Baba/Kennedy, there's a threat of a dangerous ONE-TIME cross being played if he lays off the pass to the runner, but any pass to Azpi becomes a labored exercise in seting up the ball so he can whip it in with his preferred right. Scenes, if Conte continues the Azpi at LB massacre. Hazard needs all the attacking help we can devise for him so he isn't going up against 2 defenders every time on the wing.

Still has no business being in the starting XI next season. None.

Having Baba, Kennedy, and Ake means either we'll be shopping for a brand new ~€20M LB in the summer.. Or you know, Azpi at LB again for another season. It's the Chelsea way.

Just watched that Bayern vs Juve match. Wow a true tale of two halves really. Alegri may have lost the tie in those opening 55mins, but kudos to Juve for fixing it in the second half. Still didn't use the height to their advantage except for like that final 20mins. So sad watching that game though, couldn't help but keep thinking about this Chelsea side, and how limited tactically and talented we are. There's no way we would dominate, any European match AWAY from home.. And we don't have the flexibility of that Juve side to change our approach in game and successfully carry them out in a winning fashion. oh, and Arsenal..

Today isn't probably the best day to commend Guus Hiddink, seeing how we were playing an inferior side, but it must be said... I fuckin love this man. Has truly steadied what was a sinking ship. Feels like years ago since our manager was the headline heading into a match. Peace has definitely been restored round Stamford Bridge. It's great to see players like Cesc, Mikel, Costa, and the squad as a whole, regain their confidence in playing the beautiful game. Guus has really been a blessing to Chelsea FC during both his spells here. If he wins another FA Cup...certified Legend in my book.
