  1. This looks like an opinion board for a reality show tbh. I think you mean, R-A-W-K.
  2. This is why we can't have nice things.........for long.
  3. According to @ChatChelsea of course. I'm assuming you've never heard of them? Nah, I heard it on the radio and seen on twitter at the same time. Just seen The Independent report his compensation was around 10M. Whatever the papers decide on reporting, i'm fairly certain it won't be the full amount.
  4. Ooohhh it's gonna be interesting if he plays on Saturday..
  5. Me thinks we sign Hiddink untill the summer. Even if we could sign a better manager to a long time contract right now, there's no doubt he'd be cirticized to no end by the fans and what not. Hiddink would prevent such questions due to his favorable history with us in the past. Emery in the Summer. Heard it here first.
  6. CANT WAIT! Gonna be fun hearing the fans boo the players, which will undoubtedly happen. And the show goes on! Hollywood FC!
  7. Does this mean Baba Rahman, Kenedy, RLC will be given real chances? And does this further mean, no more inverted Fullbacks, and no more Ivan? A greater effort to playing better football? And new ideas on how to approach matches, with different formations/tactics? Let's not get it twisted, we were (and still are) in free-fucking-fall. We were beat resoundingly by the likes of Crystal Palace, Everton, Bournemouth, Stoke (in the league), Southampton, and played off the fucking park by Man City. None of our loses were competitive in the slightest. We weren't losing these games with 10 shots on target, horrendous refereeing, or any other JM type excuse. We were thoroughly out played for each and every single one of our loses. We're in the middle of December. This team were not on the cusp of turning things around any time soon. He was given all the time in the world to turn this horror show around, and he simply hasn't. It's that simple. Our leading goal scorer was Own Goals. Oscar/Cesc/Hazard/Costa all looked like strangers out there month after month, with no direction on how formulate cohesive attacks. Our defense, the one aspect JM hangs his hat on, are in shambles. Every CB combination has failed, Ivan is an undisputed starter, and the team continues to lose the midfield battle week after week. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. I simply won't entertain any revisionist history 6-12 months from now, things are dire man. We're one freaking point above the relegation zone. Having said all that, it's still a shame it didn't work out. You can tell Roman wanted to achieve some sense of stability. He was damned if he fired JM in October and damned now that he's waited this long to pull the trigger. Some may say Roman and his minions should have better foresight and all that jazz, but that's a discussion for another day. JM was telling us everything we wanted to hear in his first season, everything. But the moment shit hit the fan, he simply retreated back to his old tricks. It simply HAD to be done. Still like the guy though. Crazy innit?
  8. We won't get out of our slump until this lad finally shows up for the season. Had a good game vs Swansea, and done fuck all since. We all know Chelsea go the way Oscar goes. January can't come soon enough.
  9. CMs, LB, CB.. Gotta focus mightily on those..
  10. Agree to disagree on this one then pal.. Off to continue running through the 6 with my woes..
  11. You know what, that may be the case. But even under Carlo, which was our worst period before this nightmare, we played some horrendous football, but still found ourselves travelling to OT with a chance to steal the title. Personally, i chalk that up to the spine of that team grinding out results even in the face of a poor managerial actions. Carlo just sent out the same XI week after week, month after month, no adjustments, but the players still maintained that standard (in the grand scheme of position on table).
  12. I'm assuming you mean the English core? Yeah after JT departs, who's going to be that English face of the club? Cahill? And subsequently, who's going to be that next Chelsea youth prospect to make it to the first team? Some people may not value this, but I do. Something has to be said about an English club not having one of their 'own' (from both nationality and youth ranks) and having one that's also as good on the pitch as JT has been for us. It's part of the aurora of football.. Or at least for me that is.
  13. That is true.. and is why I don't like venturing into said area, but you don't feel like the previous chelsea spine under JM were leaders of men? They may not compare to Barca/Bayern legends, but that's a whole different argument right there. I mean, i'd like to think that JT, Lampard, and Drogba were all C.L.L's for Chelsea, no?
  14. I agree with what you've said in totality.. However, when a team of the stature of Chelsea goes through horrible stretches of form, these said players that cost us tens of millions of pounds and are on high wages, you can't just sit back and chalk up all of this season's trouble to tactics. Like yes, JM should be fired, not even trying to exonerate him. But there's a standard that has to be expected. How do tactics explain Costa/Fabregas/Hazard all showing up over-weight at the beginning of the season? Our previous teams, even when they went through tough periods always knew how grind out results in spite of the many managers that we've fired under the Roman era. Heck, at one point, the main leaders of the team purposefully got a manager fired and delivered a UCL trophy on the back of it. Even as Rafa Benitez struggles mightily at Real Madrid, do you not expect them to still finish Top 3? Those players are good enough (and in our case, "should" be) good enough to still win games "on their own" so to speak. We've seen it happen in the past at Chelsea, unfortunately, this group of players can't overcome such impediments. Overall, JM's failure as a manager has made this situation exponentially worse than it should have been under a competent manager. Even if we were going to struggle this season under. Struggling should have comprised of being 8/9th at worst, not being in a relegation battle, imo.
  15. I like the way you think.. And for the record, i don't even like venturing into the whole 'captain, leader legend schtick'. Not all players are hardwired that way to publicly display their emotion, and are not the rah rah type like Ballack, John Terry or Drogba, I get it. But you can at least show it with your play/appreciation to the fans. Even in times of crisis. If those guys from before were still here, we'd all be upset at currently being 5th, maybe even 6th at the worst. The equivalent of being 6/7pts off from 4th place. IMO. I just can't get over how weak/fragile this squad is. PSG summed up this squad all too well. Give them a Man advantage? they lose their shit. Tough match away from home, leading by one? cancel all hope of producing that killer goal to finish the match. Didn't score the first goal in a match? that's it game over. @Kellzfresh summed up this team best when he points out how limited too many of our key players are. This lot are just not well-rounded footballers. idk how you find said leaders, or judge that aspect of a player from afar, but it's painfully clear, that after JT goes, we'll just be a lot of mercenaries. With Fabregas as our leader into Battle on an away trip to WHL. Gotta find that English/African core once again lol.
  16. And with those post game comments, no way Jose survives another night. How does it go? Sacked in the morning! Your getting sacked in the morning...
  17. Those were true leaders of men.. This lot were still relying on a 36y/o Drogba and 35 y/o JT last season to rally the troops. Some player even stated this, (i cant remember) but the point was that Drogba really united the dressing room and helped bring everyone together. Who's the new leader now? Hazard? Matic? Cesc? Oscar? This doesn't excuse JM by the way either. The whole lot are embarrassing Chelsea FC right now. Laughing stock of the Football world.
  18. Miss the days we had complete footballers man and leaders of men out there. They just knew how to win and grind out results. This lot, needs everyone to be firing on all cylinders and oozing with confidence. Not one player looks capable of rallying the troops, or taking matches by the scruff of the neck. So freaking fragile both mentally and physically. This is not the Chelsea I fell in love with..
  19. Looks like i need to buy BeIn Sport for the Championship next season.
  20. Feel bad for Roman Abramovich, tried to give JM as much time as possible to fix the ship, and get us back to winning ways. Respecting the history JM has achieved for this club, and has shown all the patience in the world. Aaaaaaaaannnnndddd this is how he's been repaid. Damned if he did fire JM in October, damned now that he hasn't. These next few weeks are going to be even more brutal (is that even possible?), provided we keep JM until January..
