  1. I'm still sitting on my couch wondering wtf just happened....
  2. That was magical brehs... i'm fucking speechless.
  3. THAT DID NOT JUST HAPPEN!! no way.....unbelievable.
  4. Y'all know I can't stand Liverpool, but this is crazy.....
  5. Crazy isn't it (at the bolded)? Nail. Head. And what's funny is that Klopp has soooo much work to do, but I feel like the fans really expect him to launch Liverpool into Top-4 place next season with the majority of this squad as is.
  6. On this day in history, one of the most memorable nights in the Champions League. #Never Forget
  7. You gotta laugh to stop yourself from crying about the situation tbh. Wonder who was advocating for KDB/Felipe Luis/ to play back when they were with us? And each just launched their respective teams into UCL Semi's. ?? I can never let it go, when the amount of talent deemed 'not good enough' was so obvious to thee untrained eye. This wasn't just 1 or 2 that got away, but like freakin' 5/6 players that should be contributing to our success right now. The talent was literally oozing out of the lot of them.
  8. That may be true, but the "Bus Parking" really only blew up from 2012 onwards, because that 2nd leg vs Barca and the UCL Final against Bayern was some of the most "anti-football" stuff other spectators/pundits have ever seen, And it was really only from then on that social media drove that message home of Chelsea=Bus, and all the Memes of 'Bus parked infront of goal', etc. Imo, that's when it really started. Yes, JM 1st tenure we were labelled boring and whatnot, but it was minimal tbh, and we had that Exciting 108 goals in PL with Carlo and were getting bounced in Europe while still playing proper football. Bus parking and the criticms from fans/pundits didn't start until 2012 onwards.
  9. I hope many other Chelsea fans dont think the same way. Though the number of RTs suggest otherwiss. Yea, Atletico Madrid is everything we used to be, but their better than what we've been in Europe the past 5 years. They don't just defend deep, but have 7/8/9 players who can dribble out of pressure and are sound technically. They create multiple goal-scoring chances, and don't just rely on set-pieces for them either. Their pressing is miles ahead of anything we do, and they have defenders who don't need to be hidden by Willian and Hazard tracking back for every single attack (one 1v1 duel between Neymar and Ivan is an automatic goal) no discussion. ---------------------------------------------- Tremendous game plan by Atleti too, and Messi was completely anonymous throughout the match. Im surprised he continued to sit in CM and not move out wide, he played into the ATM gameplan by being so static, and although that tactic worked last match, once Atleti got that 2nd goal, Messi should have positioned himself on the wings to get his feet on the ball instead of hoping Barca would somehow get it to him. But at the same time you gotta give Atleti credit for defending their wings better, because unlike last match, Alves and Alba weren't a factor at all and only got 1 real threatening cross between them unlike last time. Back-2-Back Tremendous European nights. You gotta love it. Wish I was there man. The Scenes.
  10. Have to give it up to Man City, played PSG well. Ibra's misses in that first leg were just too glorious to mess up. Whenever I watch KDB play I feel like I age 5 years, as I fill with anger as to how blind JM and Co. were to his talent. What a special player! Will never play down the fact he was sold. Never! And Ronaldo, what a day to remind everyone how special he can be. 2nd and 3rd goals were out of this world. Rising to the occassion, the Bernabeu was rocking tonight. Wish I was there. Overall fantastic night of UCL footy.
  11. Seems like Man City finally sold out a Champions League match.. Took long enough
  12. Wow...PSG really gonna fuck this up huh? Amazing. Think Ima watch Wolfsburg vs Real Madrid.
  13. And why would Vidal come to chelsea again? I'm being serious.. VIdal Happy at Bayern Munich
  14. Feel the same way. Sigh.. Atleast he'll be able to give us 5 solid years and play until he's 33/34. Only "Fifa" Managers believe a player's career is over once they reach 30/31. We gotta do what we gotta do to beef up our CM arsenal which we all know is piss poor at the moment, and it looks like retooling CM alone will be a 100+ Million Euro project if Nainggolan is going for 40M.
  15. Gotta love that Boy Kevin De Bruyne. Hilarious first half imo. Comical stuff. Almost forgot these were top class professionals and this was a UCL Quarter Final match. Oh, and Luiz is such a cunt. Sticking his foot out at a planted leg, i can't stand that. Remember when Ander Herrera did that at Stamford Bridge last year? I was fuming, such a pet peeve of mine. Still want PSG to win it though.. Y'all know I loathe City with a passion.
  16. I don't like Barca as much as the next guy, but that was a second yellow all day long. Torres was being an idiot, tackling busquets that far out. Great game none-the-less.
  17. 1,000% agree. Nah Fam, I can't vote for H-R-C. And it pains me to see my fellow brothas and sistas vote for this woman after all the donations she's received from PRIVATE JAIL COMPANIES, WALL STREET, ETC.......Like, you wot m8?!!? Please read this article. Hilary Clinton does not deserve black peoples votes Bill Clinton literally went on to the Arsenio Hall show, put on glasses, played the Saxophone, and went down in the African American hall of fame as being "one of us" (Even Maya Angelou claimed Bill as being One of Us! Once he got that ringing endorsement from arguably the most influential/prominent AA writer of her era it was a wrap.) Also, African Americans at large got to stop putting their faith and blindly following the Democratic Party. (I am guilty of this.) We act like the Democratic party genuinely cares about our interests when in reality a large portion of Dems don't fulfill their promises and we NEVER hold them accountable for it. We just follow this group think mentality where it's Democrat or abstaining from voting all-together. I don't have all the answers for how AAs should combat this issue but it's an issue nonetheless. I thought Bill was an AMAZING president, and I'll admit I was in that same camp, and only left that train of thought like a year and a half ago.I went back and read that it was him that started the deregulation of Wall-Street, gave the top 1% tax breaks, and started the aforementioned industrial jail complex...he got that ball rolling. Then Hillary comes through a decade plus later and starts to conveniently recognize the damage her husband's policies had towards POC in regards to drug related sentencing. ALSO! I know politics is politics, and that it can be a very nasty game.. but are we gonna summarily dismiss that when she was running against Obama 8 years ago she drummed up the race card to win over white voters?? Hilary, as Term-X would say, is a "fox in sheep's clothing." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've become very disillusioned with this country over the past couple of years. I just wanna finish my college degree and get the fuck outta here. CNN/FOX/ABC/MSNBC/NBC have successfully implemented their never ending strategy of divide and conquer with the platform they have given to Trump to speak his toxic and xenophobic message to the masses. What future presidential candidate can state "All Mexicans are rapists and criminals" and not have his presidential campaign ended on the spot? Or say Muslims in America were celebrating the 9/11 attacks with absolutely no facts to back this statement after clamoring that he "saw it on the TV somewhere" when no TV station could back that claim? What?? I just read how CNN's profits have been insane these past months, because every night at 8pm Trump is giving an interview to contradict something he said on the same show last week, or the morning interview he gave earlier that day. But don't tell the news corporations to fact-check everything he says and hold him to presidential standard because that would ruin their show and ratings. As Frank Underwood said in House of Cards this past season "Politics is prime-time entertainment". CNN have gotten to the point where, they don't even care what he says. Trump didn't denounce the KKK? Who cares! The people will forget about this in 2 hours when he says something even more outrageous! BTW, he said he didn't know who david duke was, but back in 2000 he specifically references him by name saying that he represented was a problem for the party.....Looks like david uke and the KKK are only a problem unless they represent a significant portion of your followers, like in South Carolina where 20% of Trump supporters believe the South should have won the Civil War....... I rest my case. After this political race (not that I did before) ...I don't know how anybody with half a brain takes mainstream journalism and news with any shred of credibility.
  18. Agree 1000%. Want Chelsea to stay 10th if possible, to really stick it up to the board that drastic changes are needed. (OR, if we climb up the table, hopefully Traore/Kennedy/RLC shine in the final games to improve their standing moving forward) Because Lord knows, when Guardiola AND/IF Jose Mourinho (even if he lasts 2 seasons) both go to the Manchester Clubs, Chelsea will gladly sit on the sidelines and watch them trade PL trophies back and forth. A rocket needs to be lit under the corporate suits who wanted to count profits this season instead of double down on their fantastic efforts 2 summers ago. The League was there for the taking, and we royally fucked it up. It still hurts man.
  19. To be honest, I still have odds on Man City holding on to that fourth spot. Aguero will score 6/7 goals in the span of 3 PL games to keep them afloat me thinks. If West Ham progress in the FA CUP, wouldn't surprise me to see their PL form suffer a bit. City missing out of Champions League would make my season..(Yeah,Leicester winning it, isn't quite enough for some people, I'm greedy like that.)
  20. Hope West Ham can pip that 4th spot. If not, then Man United. Man City gotta finish outside the top 4 at all costs! Such a joy watching their 'fans' empty the stadium towards the end like they always do. Such a Plastic club.
  21. I know we have massive massive needs in Defense and CM, but by God, i hope we're in the market for Fekir and/or Lacazette. Pretty sure Remy will be on his way out, and if Conte wants to play with a 2nd striker Lacazette should be our man. And when it comes to replacing Oscar, I'd look no further than Fekir imo. I know he has injury issues, but he's only 22, and Both tremendous talents. And lastly, for CB we gotta go all in for Samuel Umtiti (and Yeah, I basically want us to raid O-Lyon of all their talents). Umtiti, Fekir and Lacazette. And We'd be golden. Can't wait for the Summer transfer window in all honesty, our season will be lost/won with who we purchase.
  22. RLC did more in 6mins than Oscar has since his hat-trick vs MK Dons. Everything Oscar touched in this match went to shit. Gotta go after Isco/Fekir/anybody other than this waste of space. Desperately in need a true Playmaker in the squad. And to that Chinese club that offered a crazy sum for Oscar in February... "Baby come back! You can blame it all on me!"
