Kinda disagree, pep always want having most of the ball and very offensive. Hence, they always concede chances but they create tons of chances as well. The problem, in few games that I watch them, is the way they concede. It is beyond comical, they cannot handle simple long ball or they just miss standard pass in midfield. Plus they lost their key midfield in Fernandinho. When your deepest midfielder is old Yaya toure, you are in a big trouble

For all the crisis that City has, Spurs had and United had they are absolutely within striking distance with Liverpool. City is only 3 points behind and Spurs has the same point.

They are really good, don't listen to united fans who said that Mourinho need 2 transfer window to fix this team. This team is loaded. They did not play bad game, ibrahimovic is an absolute monster in the air. Their game plan is very simple play wide and find ibrahimovic far post. Very simple but very effective. The problem for me today was rooney, I have no clue why Mou brought in rooney. If he want somebody to play in the hole bring Mata or if he want more runner behind bring Rashford. Do you realize Mou basically has a gazillion options that he can do to change the game. This team is loaded.

Good result for us and this kinda assure me what I expect in the beginning of the session that this United has by far the best squad in the league. A good amount of world class players (Ibra, Pogba, De Gea, Mhyky), tons of depth with variety. They can go big, go fast, and they can go with experience. There is nothing wrong with kante, he is a superb ball winning midfielder with good enough passing skill. If you expect a player who can pass and good technically play Fabregas but he is just happened to be horrible at defending. Imo kante problem has nothing to do with passing, when I looked our team I more concerned about finding a more suitable partner, I like matic but I want a more attacking player (not fabregas), that imo will alleviate some of kante responsibility to be the passer in midfield.

Last WC was fine imo, plenty of goals in group stage, some interesting games, maybe the referee can be better (brazil vs colombia come to mind). Last Euro on the other hand was horrible, We have been spoiled by UCL and EPL, there is no chance that WC/EUR will be able to match them. Players simply don't have enough time to play together in order for them to be good especially offensively and because of the knockout format teams tend to play very cagey. The new format has nothing to do with trying to spice the WC, it is all about money. More games mean more revenue, it is a simple as that. If they can make it 64 without really pissing off a lot of teams, they will do it.

Imo if we can sign anybody what I really want is one more difference maker. One more quality player to support Hazard and Costa preferably in midfield. Basically if Fabregas is more athletic most of our problem is solved.
