  1. Chelsea can call him back every transfer period. So we could even 'take him back' this January when Alex leaves.. Though it would probably be better if he completes this season and shows a consistent season performance.
  2. Yeah, I am from Holland and coming from an Ajax family.. He is quite bad. My brother is a huge Ajax fan and he would love to see him go to Valencia, so Ajax can play Ligeon (a talent from their Youth Academy) in his place. That's says enough I think. I also think Holland isn't going to make it through the group stages at EURO2012 because Van der Wiel just isn't good enough to stop Portugal/Ronaldo. We should be looking for the defender who can stop him or at least give him a hard time. Van der Wiel isn't that type of defender and his development has stagnated for the last couple of years.
  3. It's all sorted by nationality I think. You always see Lamps and Terry together, even in little film Kalou made in the plane, they sat in a different part. McEachran said he hung out a lot with Lamps, Terry, Ryan (Bertrand) en Sturridge (all English). Bosingwa and Mereiles get along and Luiz with Piazon and Ramy. Mata and Torres and I can imagine Romeu. And all the African players get along a lot.. Essien, Mikel, Kalou en Drogs
  4. On the other hand, look at players like Welbeck, Wilshere and Sturridge. All three had a good spell in England and are now regular starters. Haven't seen that kind of successes from loan spells in Europe.
  5. Along with Kalas, Bruma has been our most succesfull loan spell story. He has put in some Motm performances and has scored 2 goals and gave 1 assist in 9 appearances. I heard he is a consistent in his performances and he is now a starter for HSV. It would be nice to see him at Chelsea in two years after he played 2 full years as a starting CB at HSV. His technique is good for a defender and he has a lot of footballing skills. Villas-Boas' playing style suits him.
  6. Sneijder isn't in the same basket als Xavi and Iniesta or Modric. He is a couple of baskets underneath.
  7. "Played 62 minutes and had the assist for the first goal according to the BBC. Finished 2-2" About Conor Clifford. Good start.
  8. We shouldn't sign Van der Wiel even if he was priced 2 million. He is an awful right-back. He played one good season two and a half years ago and since then he has been terrible. There is not one thing he is really good at and next to him Bosingwa looks like the best defender you've ever seen. He is bad in the Dutch Eredivisie, so he would be a complete disaster in de EPL. Furthermore, Lampard has been our best midfielder this year, so I don't understand why you've left him out. If you look at his statistics he is our best player and he was imo the man of the match against Blackburn today.
  9. Agree.. Like the top comment says; Busquets is very important in that system. He is always the first one to press and barely makes any mistakes. I think Romeu is even more important and he could fill in the same roll as Busquets does. But when you try to cpoy a tactic like that, you have to do it right. The 'six-second rule' is very important for Barcelona and one of the ways it's working for Barcelona. However we aren't doing this. At Chelsea, there is always just one player pressing instead of a whole bunch of players. This way teams like Arsenal can easily 'football their way out'
  10. http://youtu.be/IHRmXwLrpBI This completes your story about Barcelona..
  11. Nathaniel Chalobah is on twitter as well: http://twitter.com/#!/NChalobah
  12. Does it really matter when you start becoming a Chelsea fan. I became a Chelsea fan after Roman bought the club, but I rather see Youth players coming through the ranks than buying players for 50 million.
  13. In that way, Arsenal is fucked against Bayern.. United won 8-2, City beat United 6-1.. Bayern beat City 2-0.. Every game is different and with a different formation. You can't reason that way
  14. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2052140/Josh-McEachran-wanted-Swansea-loan-Chelsea.html?ITO=1490&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter It would be a good loan. Swansea tries to play good football and have averaged more passes per PL game than Manchester United. McEachran can make his mark and really grow at Swansea.
  15. That is if you play at the top level, but you could sent him on loan to Vitesse or another Dutch club. A lot of young players play in de Eredivisie and they don't become prone to injury. It's very important for McEachran to play at this age and if he can't do that at Chelsea then he should do that somewhere else. In Engeland or other top leagues young players are getting injured, but in a league like the Dutch one they're not. You cane say that he is still young and his time will come, but if he doens't play regularly now, we have the same player at the age of 21 and is he still not good enough for the starting XI of Chelsea.
  16. He actually stated that he wasn't praying, but believes that 'touching a specific teamplayer would bring luck'
  17. Say No CPO proposal to Chelsea FC: The proposals put to the club by Say No CPO are as follows: 1 The club to have total freedom to move to a larger new stadium anywhere within three miles of Stamford Bridge at any time before 2030 so long as Roman Abramovich is still in control of Chelsea. 2. Chelsea to save £1.5m by leaving Chelsea Pitch Owners in place. The CPO will sell the freehold at SB to the club in exchange for the freehold at the new ground on the same terms as currently in place. 3. The club to agree to ongoing consultation, and transparency of information, with the fans regarding any new stadium.
  18. But Villas-Boas wants us to be like this. He wants us to play like Barcelona and Mata fits in that idea. He doesn't want the wingers to make an action down the sideline, he wants them to cut in and to go inside. Sturridge can do that en Mata obviously too. Our backs should provide the crosses, but Bosingwa isn't really doing a good job on that one.
  19. Not good. In the games he did played he couldn't make his mark and was quite invisible. He was unused sub last game I know Billy can be used as a right back, but he has impressed me more as a midfielder. Gifted with good vision and the ability to put the ball where he wants. We also got Van Aanholt who is doing pretty good at Wigan so far. I'm most impressed by Chalobah, Kane and Kalas so far. Bertrand is decent left-back but should pick up some playing time. He is already 22.
  20. He scored today a winning goal in the derby against NEC. But he also received a red card (where have we seen that before..). Overall there are high expectations of him and his play is dangerous with a lot of actions. Sometimes he takes those actions too far and he loses the ball. He has shown some nice stuff, but needs to be more consistent.
  21. They didn't have a shot on goal for 92 minutes.. And I sat next to my brother, who is a Barcelona fan, when it happened.. Can you imagine the pain and torture.. Seeing him so happy..
  22. Alright, a combination of Lampard and Fabregas then, and Mata.. Tbh I think he is going to be the best player in the world. He has so much potential en is so incredibly good for his age.
  23. Modric is a bit more defensive. The current Ajax-coach is thinking about a Messi-like role for Eriksen. Eriksen is a combination of Fabregas, Xavi and Iniesta. He has a great technique and is a real playmaker. He is very dominant in the midfield. He has an action and a pretty good shot. Overall he is just a very talented and versatile player.
  24. I don't think Eriksen will ever move to Chelsea. In a couple of years he'll go to Barcelona.. Unfortunately
