  1. Do you what favour? Social media rules these days,it is what it is. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  2. It was his PL debut, stop being so salty and let the kid share his delight. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  3. He isn't complete shite either. He can actually play ball and seems very determined, think he would put his body on the line for the team if needed. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  4. Harsh on Christensen and Rüdiger. If we sold everybody else I couldn't care less.
  5. Hopefully our next head coach won't rate him and freezes him out. But I fear this won't be the case, the club will probably pressurize to play him. Can't let 40 millions go to waste now can we.. 40 fucking million for a player who is worse than 17 year olds in our academy.
  6. In our whole team we have choices between bad and worse. GC is barely a footballer by nature, Azpi wouldn't be worse no matter who he naturally is.
  7. It's not like Bournemouth have giant attackers. Azpi would have been fine and he wouldn't have lost every foot race like GC.
  8. Agreed. Azpi or Rüdiger would have been better there imo, or even Ampadu. It's a shame that both Luiz and AC are out, they are really our only competent CCBs. Couple that with the fact we didn't have a striker, disaster being the result.
  9. Runs like a tractor, so fucking slow. 2nd goal I actually thought was offside somehow, because I thought Cahill had stopped sprinting as in the play had stopped, but shortly I realized it was him sprinting. The common denominator in all 3 goals, if you are a key ingredient in all the conceded goals, well then that's just piss poor for a captain.
  10. We have no midfield (I'm including wing-backs here) and this game proves it. This is probably why Conte wanted a target man, so we can bypass our midfield altogether.
  11. Could have really used him tonight with all the high balls to Hazard.
  12. Even though it was offside, it was amazing to see Azpi not passing sideways to Zap. An actual through ball!
  13. Tbf, thinking about it, this makes more sense than Džeko taking consideration their demands also. It felt as though Džeko was after his last big contract and nothing else, there were no reports of him actually wanting to come here, on the contrary it was said he'd prefer to stay but the club was the one pushing the deal for money reasons. Giroud on the other hand I think is happy just to stay in London and have a similar role to what he had at arsenal. As a target man I think he is better too, hated going against him. 14. I think it has a lot to do with the stadium (1bn isn't a joke), plus the fact that new rich and state owned clubs have driven up the prices and wages so quickly that our natural financial progression can't keep up. Our financial situation is probably stuck in times when you could buy the best players for 30-50mill only a few years ago, those same players would go for 100m these days. It's a hell of a upward spike in a very short time and with 1bn reserved for the stadium, i am not at all surprised. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  15. Yep, we are the pinnacle of fame.
  16. ^ I love how they feel the need to say all that publicly in social media.
  17. Surely he didn't say that? It has TrollFootball markings, probably just trolling.
  18. Yeah, being beaten to a trophy by fucking Arsenal stings no matter what cup it is. Adding that they beat us in the final last season and in community shield. Fuck em.
  19. And we could end up with 2 trophies, and they may not. Don't understand this argument.
  20. You managed to respond before I noticed my mistake - Sanchez isn't in City. But the point remains, and I didn't list only bench players, but everybody they have available for that position. Even if you take Sanchez out it's still ridiculous once they add Mahrez.
  21. Ffs where do they fit him? They already have B.Silva on the bench, he would walk into our team, now Mahrez too? Soon even the players that don't make their bench are better than ours.
  22. City are genuinely interested in him? Confirmed by reliable sources?
  23. You presented your own opinions, I don't necessarily disagree with them. I mentioned points that the club most likely consider when assessing a potential deal like that, thus answering your "why" question from the club's perspective as objectively as I could.
  24. I'm tired of explaining this, but I'll mention the main points to you again. 1) We are clearly after a target man, Auba isn't one. 2) He costs around 60 million + big wages, or such are the numbers thrown around in the media. We won't spend so much money on another striker having already spent a record amount on Morata. 3) Auba expects to be a starter, a main man and rightfully so. But so does Morata, this is the reason he left Real, and he will be our main striker for years to come considering the price we paid for him. 4) We don't play 2 strikers, no room for both and you don't buy players for 60m+ to be backups. Long story short: He doesn't fit the profile and is too expensive for us.
