  1. It's Sturridge. Anyway, I'm not pessimistic over this game.... Everton have very little creativity, they're struggling and they have no Saha. With the right approach we should take 3pts.
  2. I like Jamie, he's honest and has good opinions... and I'm surprised by Neville too, because most of the times when I've seen him talk/analyse, he's been fair.
  3. Tbh Chelsea have never been a club to hold managers long-term... I think I heard somewhere that our longest serving manager was for 4 years (not counting the pre-historic times), correct? even pre-Roman in PL we had many different managers. It just seems to be the way of the club no matter who the owner is. Wikipedia says we had 5 managers from 1988 to 2003. Long term for us is ~3 years, and it can be argued it's not enough.
  4. I hope he enjoys his own goal which denied his team 3 points
  5. Agreed... him, Cahill and Mata were the best for me. Still can't decide who I will vote for.
  6. well, when I first turned on my stream, I thought it was Terry playing... only to see it's a 24 not a 26. Their style is so similar. He is in contention to vote for MotM, simply because it felt like he had been playing for us ages, and the shot at the end was oh so close.
  7. His dive almost resulted in a Mata goal from free-kick... had it gone in, he should have got the assist for it It did remind me of a dolphin a bit, Webb was just donkey enough to fall for it.
  8. Did Ferdinand get officially the own goal? I'd love that... of course I'd love Luiz to get that too, but that cunt deserves the embarrassment.
  9. 80 million pounds would help a lot of struggling countries. The whole Chelsea team has cost probably more than my country's annual budget... ok, maybe it's not that bad, but it helps me put the money in football into perspective.
  10. I rely on you to post his post-match interview once it's up
  11. it took me time to understand what he meant under "Valencia runs riot" confusing name he has
  12. His confidence is so low not even a hattrick could restore it, let alone a single cross. That year of misery and failure will always haunt him, even if he manages to score 3 games in a row, his goals will still be considered a collector's item and in the back of his mind he knows that, preventing any kind of confidence to emerge.
  13. he looks rather red to me.. should native americans be offended and crying? I think they have a case for court.
  14. true.. imagine if we had sent Studge on loan and hadn't signed Mata. lol. And to think that was the case for Ancelotti last season, he excelled in hindsight.
  15. Give us a manu dummy on this forum and I believe the rest of us will happily do the same
  16. Still doesn't change the fact, so we have the right to vent our frustration of a sub-par player who has the cojones to moan about little game time
  17. Doesn't change the fact that he's shit, does it?
  18. Got most of the things spot on imo. I didn't agree with the selection of Bosingwa over Bertrand, but let it be then, he's the boss and knows better. It's just a bad message to Ryan. Now I don't get people who blame him for that draw. First of all, there were 2 soft penalties.. does he control his players with a gamepad? I don't think so. Does he have control over the referee's view on things? Doubt it. Although what's with his substitutes lately? I think he made only 1 sub today, while Essien was visibly knackered. And Malouda stays on while Sturridge leaves? Oh well, I don't blame only him for today.... I think defensively and in attack we were much more organized and better than we've been against the shit lower ranked teams. Things could have gone much worse.
  19. First of all, I must give him credit for that sublime cross.. Absolute peach of a goal made by Torres and Mata whose roles were switched, but nevertheless, it was great. Now, I must critique him yet again. When he had that chance when he was clear to shoot in the box, he just ran into amok. Why take that extra touch, why? Just shoot and celebrate.. He says he needs to try extra hard in Chelsea, but no, he needs to do things simple, not make it extra hard for himself. He's like a masochist, taking on 4 defenders and taking excessive touches when he has a chance to shoot. The predatory Torres is dead.. convert him to winger, at least he can cross.
  20. Nobody is blaming Malouda, wtf? Does criticizing a player = blaming him for everything?
  21. Before the game I predicted a 3-0 loss, so imo 3-3 is brilliant... I didn't let the 3-0 scoreline fool me, I knew beforehand that this Chelsea side is inconsistent and unpredictable. Of course, I got my hopes up after 3-0 (like everybody else), and it wasn't usual for us to give such a lead away at SB, but shit happens. All in all, if somebody had offered me 3-3 before the game started, I would have taken it. Am satisfied with the result, and performance was not bad... it's just that we got fucked by shit refereeing yet again.. Although I must admit, at first glance I thought both were penalties, but after replays I changed my mind. And how could he give the fk for that Luiz dive I don't know. I am pleased to see that the players didn't look uninterested, hopefully some more of this against weaker sides, not only against Manu and City, then we would take more points out of those games.
  22. Lukaku isn't african, he's just a rather fast black man
  23. he's one of the few players who seem genuinely happy to be playing, always a smile on his face
