Just defines our season and luck. He has developed to be our most consistent defender, and now he gets a potentially career screwing injury. The football gods are testing my faith ever so more.

Due to my stupidity I missed the game... what happened to him?
-
He didn't create any instability in Ivanovic.
-
You just know the fans will be singing his name whenever we play United...

Leicester winning 3-0 away at City, unreal!

Just noticed that my avatar is of crappy quality. Is it due to the update?

Wonder where is this Pellegrini's exciting football everybody keeps on yapping about...

Jose may find it difficult at United, because he would look like a fool complaining about referees and conspiracies at the country's darlings. He will have to alter his us-against-the-world mind games and I wonder how he will do that when Utd are basically FA's team.

Damn, this guy seriously stepped on the elite's toes.

Recently I saw a VICE documentary about how Chinese hire white europeans to do whatever - hang out with them at parties, promotional campaigns.. hell, one hospital hired a random white guy to pretend to be a world renowned doctor, he recited an article from wikipedia to an auditory full of Chinese physicians. They want europeans basically anywhere where they want to appear prestigious. They are absolutely obsessed with Europe, the logic being that since European culture and economy is the leading one in the world, they want to adopt it and bringing in white people makes them look successful. You can live like a king in China just for being white, it's so weird.

Oscar doesn't need to leave, he's a fine option to have on the bench, but I doubt he'd accept a bit-part role knowing he could play regularly in many other teams. Definitely should not be a starter past this season, or even this season.

I imagine that the players who do want to come back from China eventually, will find it difficult. The likes of Anelka and Drogba went there for free. Why would the Chinese clubs sell their players for a loss? I doubt any club in Europe would want to buy a player from the Chinese league for for example £40m that they spent on Teixeira (or even at a 'cut price' £30m or smth like that), who in addition is unproven anyway, moreso now that he collects rust in a shit league. He may want to earn more money for a short period of time before wanting to return, but in the process he fucked his footballing career over.

In essence, yes. If people cannot eat, it means they don't have the means to acquire food, which is pretty much the definition of poverty (definitely the most important and deadly aspect of it).

Fucking drunk atm, yo

Having a flexible manager would be so refreshing!

No doubt this is part of China's masterplan to take over as the world's leading power. Only nearly retired people go to the States while China is snapping up players in their prime.

Wouldn't mind him. Italians have done very well here. EDIT: Check out what wikipedia teaches us

I disagree, his Serbian compatriot has been worse. At least Matic managed to have one monstrous performance against Kiev and a few decent ones, the best Ivanovic has managed to do is ~6/10. But it's no excuse, they're both crap and I can understand why you say that.
-
No he did not. Maybe I'm wrong in general, but I clearly remember when right at the start of the game Martial brushed past him like he wasn't there and got a very dangerous shot in.
-
I know some saints on here will berate me for this, but the only chance of that happening is if he gets injured in training. Fingers crossed!

Looking at the poll list, I realized there is absolutely nobody fit to be a captain of a top team, no leaders. For a few years at least wearing the armband will be a formality, because somebody has to, but in reality we will have no captain if JT does go, so might as well give it to Mourinho's loverboy if he stays.
-
So his last two good performances (possibly the only ones) were against MK Dons and Sunderland. He's found his level.
-
He created that chance for Ivanovic.
