Should be posted in Zouma's thread, he's the constant in top 2.

I'm worried about the pressure surrounding him now. He hasn't really had this kind of attention and pressure before in his career, psychological factors are very real now. For some strange reason I feel for him (I know he earns in a week or two about the same I will earn my whole life), but I keep thinking myself in his situation taking into consideration his widely reported personality (if they are true, then we have similarities), then I find myself mentally depleted and needing an environment change. I wouldn't blame him if he feels like that, he doesn't owe us his loyalty. And I do think he tries his best, but the mindfucking difficulties he might be experiencing can and will inhibit his playing style, it's not exactly conscious when for some reason you have lost the confidence that made you a world beater not long ago.

Open the emoticon window and click on "categories" top right, it's barely visible.. then click "emoticons", you will find them there.

He looks like a fancy Diego Costa.

Yeah, I probably should shut down the forum for a while. Torres has been gone for some time and he's entering the stage where the likes of Kalou and Anelka are now in the fans' memories (the "he-was-not-that-bad" stage). I can write a long rant about goldilocks, but I will not let him waste my time and nerves any more than he did during his miserable years here, so I'm just gonna say that anybody who says Hazard, even in his current form, is worse than Torres, is a wanker and I have NO respect for that kind of opinion. Talking and tearing up the memories about him is an abomination, it should be punishable by death (ban).

Often he waits for contact to earn a free-kick or a penalty, yesterday I remember 2 such occasions. That's one of the main things I don't like about him - when he has the chance to shoot or conjure something up, he'd rather cheat. It's also true his dribbling is bad. He should restrict himself to running the channels, sticking a foot out to score and be a cog upfront for combination plays, he needn't do much more. That's why I don't like when he goes on the wing, it usually requires beating somebody on pace or dribble and at that he's ineffectual.

Going way over the top. You can't berate other users for being fickle and long-term memory challenged, and then go and write this mush. It is near impossible to be worse than El Torrid was at his worst, you'd have to be a blind farmer to be worse than he was.

We can't forget he's only 21. With more belief shown in him, he can only get better. He's already good enough to be our starter, has been for a long time, but for some despicable reason he's been reduced to a role where he doesn't even get considered when everybody is fit. Why?? He proved he can do it on the biggest stage away from home, but even against mid- and lower table clubs he gets no love, when it was clear to everybody that this full-back pairing of Ivan-Dave doesn't work against teams that sit back. I agree with the people who say that Mourinho from 2003-2010 is gone - no way can such a limited manager in thinking be the best in the world anymore. I hope to fuck this opens Guus' eyes and Ivanovic gets chucked to CB permanently, it's clear as day he doesn't have the physical attributes to play full-back in 50 games a season anymore.

With Mourinho, Guardiola, Klopp and (maybe) Simeone this league should really pick and dust itself up again.

Only English teams in defence, disaster... Put Atletico in defence. Also no chance us, liverpool or united deserve to be there.

Cool story, if that picture wasn't fake

We're one injury/suspension away from playing Miazga together with Cahill or Ivanovic. I think we'll see something close to this line-up: Courtois Dave - Cahill - Ivanovic - Baba Mikel - Matic Willian - Fabregas - Pedro Costa

15? Meh, legal over here, yawn.. Also, 15 year olds these days, far from pedophilia legal or not.
-
We were never going to sell him mid-season without replacement. Summer is a whole different story.

Aaaah please be Oscar!

I still maintain that Hiddink is one of the best interims we can have at this point. We can be frustrated with some of his decisions and I admit I have been and called him a coward, but when you look at our squad and what's been happening, more so now that Ramires has left and Hazard's injuries, he has done well. The supposedly best coach in the world did 10x worse with this lot. Calling him a senile old man on regular basis is just disrespectful.

I like that we are looking at Italian coaches. We have good history with them. Also I'm glad the bullshit about mediocre coaches like Howe and Hughes have died out, I cringed so hard when we were linked.
-
Am I the only one excited over Allegri? He seems to like football very different from what we've grown accustomed to and for that alone I welcome the change in direction. Playing two forwards? Yes, please.
-
Anyway, I think it's pretty clear from that interview that physical and mental exhaustion has caught up with him.
-
He probably doesn't want the players heads to drop by starting to lose again. Jose said that those players collapse when the first negative thing happens, so I think first and foremost he wants to minimize the risk of losing - something we have done plenty already this season. Thankfully we have recovered some of the fighting spirit, so maybe as soon as it's deemed safe for Hazard to begin starting games again, we will see Fabregas-Mikel/Matic pivot more often.

Super interesting read. “This is the first time this has happened to me, but it was always going to happen at some stage. You have to learn from it. I’m a human being, not a machine. I’ve been a professional since I was 16, so maybe that has had an influence too.” By the time Hazard turned 25 last month he had already played 446 senior games for clubs and country. Lionel Messi had 431 to his name at that age, and Cristiano Ronaldo 407. When the Belgian limped off with a groin strain at Crystal Palace four days before his birthday, he had mustered 186 appearances in three years. His workload has been onerous.

With this kind of shit I lose all appetite to watch Chelsea this season anymore.
