Yeah, I know most likely. One can dream though. Btw it's Bertrand, the other Ryan got tossed aside

Way to endorse the forum I have an adblocker (uBlock Origin), but it still opened a new window for some random site and didn't log in. Didn't bother reporting it, but if other people do then might as well chip in. It works when logging in from the top-right menu though.

Wish Pedro was fit, without him Oscar is too close to the starting XI. Plus he was just getting his mojo back.

Anybody seriously thinks he's gonna say he's not happy here, especially on the club's channel watched by thousands of fans and club employees? You don't bite the hand that feeds you. Remember all the players defending Jose and speaking so altruistically about the club? Visually we could see this was all bullshit. We have had some hints from players after his sacking that they are happier now, but if we believed their words, they were all oh so determined and happy before too. What you hear players saying on TV is PR training in action. Every time I listen to players talk about something, I think that they all went through the same course or something, they always say the same things. Very predictable and boring. It doesn't matter at all what he says about PSG, Real or us, only actions count and we'll see in the summer what he really thinks.

What's the excitement over Pato anyway? At the moment I couldn't care less if he plays or not. I seriously doubt he brings more quality to what we already have. I'd rather Kenedy and Traore be ahead of him in pecking order, which seems to be the case fortunately.
-
What are you talking about? Mikel > Matic and it's not even close atm. Nemanja has fallen off a cliff, I doubt he will recover any time soon and PSG is not the time to find out. Courtois Azpi - Cahill - Ivanovic - Baba Mikel - Cheeks Traore - Willian - Hazard Remy

Conte vs. Howe, Hughes and Rodgers... hmm, tough choice.

He's been beaten twice or something like that, don't overreact.

Didi had sublime technique all-round, he was a menace both in his own and the opposition's box. Drogba was a more complete footballer, but there is no doubt that Costa had a far better debut season.
-
That line-up would lose to every team in the league and it wouldn't be even close. Don't think he wants to forfeit a game altogether.
-
Giroud, Benzema, Lacazette and Martial are all ahead of him, and probably 10 other strikers. In fact no national team would include a player who's done nothing for a whole year, it would make no sense considering their player pool.
-
Who are youngsters though by definition? Kalas for example is soon 23, not that young anymore. When I hear youngster or youth, I think up to 20 year olds.
-
Mourinho gave a tactical reason for that game and it made sense because of Ivanovic playing at RB being able to convert to CB if need be. Now we had no options to switch to three central defenders, so the reasons must have been different.
-
He's shaky at the moment, but we need to keep hold of him no matter what. True quality goalkeepers are hard to come by so I think he's going to turn out to be a massive player for us for years to come. Let him make mistakes and learn from them, as far as goalkeepers go he's still in his baby shoes.
-
He has played some two matche in total at LB, of course he's not going to look natural. Taking that into consideration I thought he did really well, but I felt safer soaking the pressure with Baba and I think this substitution was exactly for that. Btw didn't Mourinho give him his first game at LB against Norwich too?
-
He hasn't shown signs of regaining form while everybody else has. He was so bad that I feel we are defensively more solid with Fabregas and Mikel than Mikel and Matic.

Damn you Oscar

Wow, that's what I call an unpredictable line-up. And never thought I'd see the day where Mikel is rested for Matic.
-
Proper full-backs, wingers and 2 forwards supported by two B2B midfielders. It's a different kind of creativity than what we rely on now, but with proper wing play it can work. United used to do it to devastating effect.
-
If we play with two forwards, will there be a place for Fabregas in a 2 man midfield? Usually giving up numbers in midfield means you have to have energetic and dynamic players in there, not to mention they have to be above average at defending. Cesc doesn't fit the bill if we go 4-4-2. However the likes of Vidal and Nainggolan match up, and they are the players we are linked with.
