  1. I agree with this, I like the sound of Bosingwa coming on and making a difference. Although the way we're being linked with van der Wiel, maybe he has thoughts of leaving?
  2. New forum rule Threads containing arguments will simply be locked or deleted by an Administrator or Moderator at their own discretion. Furthermore, members contributing to arguments will all be given a 24-hour suspension and have their posts put on Moderator preview only. Its a shame that things have had to come to this, but the immaturity of some members makes it a must. There are more arguments on this site than discussions and its pathetic. Fortunately it is only a minority of members and this therefore will not apply to many users. I just find it embarrassing for guests to be linked from the Official Chelsea FC website to see a small group of people squabbling like children over the most pathetic of things.
  3. This is just pathetic now. Again, this is locked.
  4. This is absolutely pathetic. Locked.
  5. With Bosingwa back in training, what are we going to do with our second centre back slot? Terry, as captain, is moreorless guaranteed a place in the starting eleven, so who starts alongside him? Ivan and Alex both had fantastic seasons but we can't play both without dropping Terry - and with Ancelotti clearly having his favourites it is obvious this won't happen. We can rotate defenders, of course, but would defence would you go with?
  6. Well I'm glad that you've come on and said your thing. I've got nothing against you 'clearing up your name' or whatever its called. Indeed, no hard feelings.
  7. Wow, that's very strange indeed, there must be a link in that thread.
  8. Only Admins and Mods can do so, because the feature was being abused. Now, back on topic please.
  9. Technically no, he's just acting up as usual.
  10. Why? What has Yossi ever done to you? And be very careful how you answer that question.
  11. Don't worry, he's gone. He can also try making new accounts, I find the IP Address tool in the Admin CP really fun to use.
  12. Well the great thing is we have brilliant cover and can rotate players to maintain fitness. Yuri, Ferreira and Ash - LB Terry, Ivanovic, Alex, Carvalho - CB Ivan, Ferreira and Bos - RB Plus we have the youngsters such as Bruma, Hutch and Patch as well.
  13. Ancelotti is the manager and I trust his judgement. Afterall, he won us the Double last year.
  14. I vote for Sturridge... you know, that quality young Englishman with a bright future.
  15. I know Jose is a full back but he has all the qualities to be a good midfielder in my opinion. I'm not saying play him there instead of Essien or Mikel, but he is such a fantastic attacking outlet... I'd love for us to give it a go in a pre-season friendly; Ivan at right-back with Bosingwa in front of him. What a mouthwatering combination that could be. It might not work but when it boils down to it I prefer Ivanovic as a defender and Bosingwa as an attacker... and since we have both, why can't we use both?!

  17. Making fun of, and insulting, are two different things in my book - so yes!
  18. Not necessarily, we did buy some shocking players in all fairness! I think the reason why we've been successful is through sustainability and quality management by Mourinho, Hiddink and Ancelotti. When we brought players such as Essien, Drogba, Malouda, Kalou, Mikel, Cech and Robben, they were all either in their mid-twenties or younger, and thus we've been able to keep the squad sustainable since 2003 - although new blood is certainly needed sooner rather than later. I also think we've had a consistent spine to the team since 2004 - Cech, Terry, Lampard, Makelele (now Essien) and Drogba all start 9 times out of 10. City's spending has been ridiculous because they've just gone and splashed their cash at moreorless anyone. David Silva you could argue is still their only real marquee signing so far!
  19. If it looks anything like that, I ain't buying it. And people thought this was ridiculously bright...
  20. The Noisy Neighbours are nothing more than a shit United.
  21. Well if Kenyon is to be believed, he left us close to being in a sustainable position financially. So I don't think we're too far away at operating at a profit and being able to take care of ourselves.
  22. ESSIEN! Yossi seems at home already... he looks good in a Chelsea (training) shirt
