  1. A penalty box poacher is exactly what we need, making front-post runs... not tarting about with his hairdo like a certain £50 million flop.
  2. No, I say what I want, the rest of you say what I allow you to say
  3. We need Frank back. He isn't even half the player he once was, but he is a Chelsea 'general' and the team just seems more confident when he's playing. Plus he's a genuine goal-threat. Need him back soon.
  4. Roman's policy of hiring and firing has made us the most successful club in English football over the last decade, having won one more major honour than Manchester United have in that space of time. We may be unhappy with di Matteo's dismissal, but if Rafa brings us the CWC, the League Cup and a top-three finish, we can consider this a decent season.
  5. If having Benitez in charge - a man that can style our play to our centre forward's strengths - can at least improve Torres' proficiency up front before the end of the season, he'll have done a good job in that respect at least.
  6. What a ridiculous notion. We can't criticise Roman because he's spent his millions on players? Any billionaire owner would have done the same without swinging the axe so prolifically. Roman has been great for this club but he has to accept we are not his plaything. Chelsea FC is not a toy. This is a people's football club that has, admittedly, achieved so much under his tenure. Yes, we owe much to his desire to be the best, but look at City; financed by a man who lets football men make the football decisions. It is exactly as Mourinho said - if Abramovich was the manager, we'd be relegated; if Mourinho was the owner, we'd have become bankrupt. Roman needs to stick to what he does best and let the manager do his job and manage! It was clear Roman was never happy with the di Matteo appointment. Now he has someone he wants in charge - regardless of us fans and our feelings - so let's see if he takes a back-seat and lets Rafa run this club. If he does just that, I'm more than happy for Benitez to be our manager.
  7. 16th minute: ONE DI MATTEO, THERE'S ONLY ONE DI MATTEO! Rest of the match: FUCK OFF BENITEZ, YOU'RE NOT WANTED HERE!
  8. I just don't understand Roman's thinking. The timing of this is absolutely horrific. It's obvious this has been up his sleeve, and he has used last night's defeat as the reasoning behind it. If someone is going to be appointed today then he has clearly gone behind RDM's back to appoint a new man. No matter how many trophies he could have won, Robbie was never going to win Abramovich over.
  9. Abramovich - and the board - out! Don't get me wrong, I'm eternally thankful to Roman for bankrolling our success, but it is time for him to go. We are not his plaything. There are plenty more billionaires out there who won't interfere in first-team affairs.
  10. Cole or Cech? Are you kidding me. Ivanovic without doubt.
  11. I don't give a fuck what people think, so I'm just going to speak my mind. Luiz is an absolute liability and should be sold. Torres was finished before we signed him, it's just taken until now for everyone to realise it. Can't wait til he leaves, a disaster of a signing for this club. All the fanboys/fangirls can fuck off as well, this is Chelsea FC and these pair are not good enough.
  12. Exactly, we saw how useless Oscar, Hazard and Mata are without him behind. He is their licence to kill.
  13. ^ you don't have to apologise to Fernando, the only thing he has led is the club for the bunch of mugs they are.
  14. With Torres on the pitch you play with 10 men for the 85 minutes he can't be arsed for. Time for him to go.
  15. Shows how much we miss our Generals. No Lampard, no Terry (after the first half anyway), no Cole and of course no Drogba. When JT was on the pitch, you just felt more confidence. An easiness. He goes off, and the confidence goes. The lads lack organisation and as much as he may be one of my two favourite Chelsea players of all time, Cech should not wear that armband. He doesn't even talk except to organise walls and defensive positions for corners. Give the armband to Cahill or Ramires, we need a vocal leader at all times.
  16. Torres will be gone by the summer if he hasn't already been shipped off in January. What a disaster of a signing.
  17. I thought he was lacklustre yesterday to be honest. Matched Sterling for pace but out of position so frequently.
  18. Forget Mata, Mikel has been the most consistent player for Chelsea this season. Actually, in the whole of 2012. He has a bad game once in twenty matches. Can't believe the progress he's made.
  19. I think Robbie is the right man for the job. Jamie Redknapp was spot on when he called RDM a "good manager, but more importantly he is a lucky manager". Being a lucky manager is not a bad thing - Rafa Benitez is a lucky manager, to some extent so are many of the best coaches in European football. RDM is not the most tactically-astute of managers but it is clear he is able to motivate his squad successfully, and in fairness, the changes he has made recently to both the starting elevens and our substitutes have won us games. He is the man to stick by.
  20. I can see Moses being considered the signing of the summer if he continues in this form. If we don't recall Lukaku, or sign another CF, I can see him being our number 9 by the end of the season.
  21. I went to watch Nottingham Forest vs Middlesbrough on Tuesday night as I got cheap tickets for being a student at Nottingham Trent University. Josh was playing, and he was by some distance the best player on the pitch. He has learnt to be more disciplined in a positional sense, which is great to see. He is becoming a player that always makes the simple pass, á la Makelele. Middlesbrough feed a lot of their attacks through him, and he always came and doubled up with the full-back. Good to see, a solid 8/10 performance from him.
  22. My honest opinion: David the man - worth a billion dollars. David the player - we should be on the phone to Barca about that £25 million.
