    As you say, I think we'd do better to slow things down. We're still only in March. Let's look at him at the end of next month and see if he's ready for 90 minutes of football. I know World Cups are massive for players, but how old is he, 20, 21? He'll go to plenty of them.

    Which I personally think is understandable from José's point of view. Very risky to throw him into big games with so much at stake. Give him a few cameos here and there, then give him a full pre-season and we'll all see what the fuss is about.

    Hardly surprising when you consider all their midfield options! He'd be perfect alongside Matic in the deeper pair of the midfield five, or the "pivot" as we like to call it now.
