Hazard was born in Belgium. Belgium, like the Swiss, have adopted English as a second or 3rd language. The majority of the country speak it fluently. Eden Hazard spoke it fluently. Stopped reading there

Do you all watch the Portuguese League on a weekly basis? So many experts on the matter I'm inclined to believe it. I don't know the man well enough to give a valid opinion, I'll stick to what Mou thinks.
-
I'm one of the people hoping Courtois will get the spot, but I don't blame folk that want to go on with Cech, just casting him aside just seems unreal at this point. There were always gonna be 2 camps here, we'll just have to wait and see how it pans out

Seems to be the case for a lot of these flairy technical players, the trickery disappears from their game as they mature and translates in to more effective ways of being tricky, as in class touches, change of pace and clinical finishing. But yea, I miss it too =)

Watching that vid makes me sad he won't make it here. I just hope he doesn't end up in another English team, that'd be awful

Advocaat was manager for less than 6 months, not sure where you're going with this. Wilmots made them get along in the dressing room, united the Flemish and Walloons, hats off for that. What else makes him a good manager? He had one job as manager before at Sint-Truiden (lol) winning 2 out of 22 games. His assistent Borkelmans was manager in a second division club managing to get them relegated before becoming Wilmots right hand man. He uses 1 formation and the odd 4-4-2 for 10 mins to try Benteke and Lukaku together. He has no plan during a game, he expects Hazard or De Bruyne to come up with something special to scrape a win. He's extremely lucky to be in this position now that our players are reaching their mid-twenties. His shortcomings as a tactician will hurt us when things go bad in Brazil. He isn't a man with a plan, and unfortunately the person next to him is Vital Borkelmans, not exactly the guy to come up with a masterplan either.
-
Our main problem is the lack of a capable manager. Wilmots + Borkelmans in charge of the most talented Belgian team ever? Such a waste.

When I did it 9 years ago we got stuck in a traffic jam for 20 of the 30 minutes, easiest exam in my life =F

So basically the loan Chelsea arranged to make Courtois a better player, which is essentialy a prolonged trainingsession, has no merit? Then what's the point in loaning someone out to begin with? Ofcourse he has no guaranteed first spot, there's no such thing, but he has at least earned the right to start the season as nr1, considering he was bought to be our keeper for a decade and has been arguably better than Cech the last 2 years. Either that or sell him.

2 times young poty, 1 time poty in 3 years France, Team of the season in his first year in England. I get where you're coming from but you act like he's not been important yet for this team.
-
Yea he's a very decent player. Perhaps blind Wilmots will notice him now that he plays for a more prolific club and bring him to Brazil instead of, lol, Simons.
-
Roman wouldn't sell for 100 million
-
Eredivisie isn't much better. Defensively they're one of the weakest leagues in Europe.
-
He lacks the pace to be a truly good winger. He has all the attributes to be very effective in the centre of the pitch.
-
Not at all, not that much of a step up from Zulte but definately a good environment to be in for 6 months. They've got a brilliant trainingcomplex and I'm convinced he'd be a key player for them.
-
The Hazard's are Anderlecht fans, I can see Thorgan wanting to join them.
-
The articles posted are irrelevant, he's one of the few options around and people are discussing the player. Besides, it's January, dodgy sources will appear everywhere. Nothing unusual here.
-
It's very much possble that we're looking to sign a striker this month, just discussing the possiblities, even if the article is false.
-
Yes please, I've always liked the man. Mourinho knows him well, so if he thinks he can keep the nutter in him in check, why not? 25M is a steal imo on todays market considering his age, form and obvious talent.
-
I get that he wants to win this cup, but come on, play your bench. It's good enough vs most PL teams let alone Derby County

Kill it with fire

Hazard's no diver at all. With his speed of execution he goes down with the slightest of touches. That's how gravity works. I realise it often looks as if he's diving, (the referees seem to have agreed unanimously not to award penalties when Hazard falls down in the box), but I challenge you to find any blatant Hazard dive. You'll maybe find 1 or 2 over a season and a half.
-
Still think he'll become top class over the years. 25 million seems ridiculous now but not 6 months ago.

RIP uncle Phil

True and if he hadn't gone down we'd have scored. Anyway, he was great, no need to focus on this incident.
