Doesn't really matter. Hazard is done. Wouldn't even entertain the idea of him coming back here. Madrid may of been his dream but should of stayed put. And avoided 19962 cakes also.

Probably would of been better getting relegated and getting rid of more than half of these fucking overpaid, useless frauds. Hopeless. Weakest Chelsea team & squad I have ever seen in my lifetime. Not even going to say too much more about Lampard because have said enough before about how poor a manager he is and how lucky he ever will be to manage a top club again in his managerial career. Even with Poch, a new GK, DM & CF, we will still have a lot to do to. Mainly because of the mentality that has worked its way in to this club the last 12 months is pathetic and its come from the top all the way down since Todd Boehly and co arrived. Also Mudryk has also been as bad a big money signing as Lukaku was. Just useless. Couldn’t finish if his life depended on it and just doesn’t look up to it at all. If Poch thinks he can turn him into Son, then he is smoking the crack pipe.
-
Fofana as usual rash and couldn’t make a stupider decision in the box. Typical. £80m my arse
-
Bayern are a shambles off the pitch yes but their form had been questionable under Nagelsmann too. Maybe Tuchel should of done more but Dortmund for once have sustained a challenge as opposed to falling away.
-
He's shite anyway.
-
Fuck sake what a stupid cunt 🤣 immature wee boy, fine him
-
Be 2024 by the time they announce Poch.

Cucurella was apparently the best thing since sliced bread according to a lot on here when we were linked to him. And Brighton’s player of the year. Your right different career paths, different environments but still regardless the jump from Brighton to Chelsea (irrespective of league positions) in terms of pressure and demands is huge. And funny you mentioned Gary Cahill, he took a month or two to really get going here to be honest. He was thrown in at the deep end by Villas-Boas and he really struggled particularly v Napoli that game was brutal. Turned it around quicker but he was a much more experienced player who also played for England before and captained his club side. Colwill will need to be given time - as there will be a difference in terms of how we play to how Brighton play, the pressure and objectives here compared to theirs. The comparison with Cucurella is symmetrical in that sense. I do believe he will be a huge success here but like with Hudson-Odoi, Mount, James, Abraham, Tomori, we will have to be patient and as we’ve seen with each of them - they have their ups and downs on and off the field which can affect their development. As can all players.
-
Have to be patient with this lad. As we’ve seen with Cucurella, the jump from Brighton to Chelsea is difficult. Granted the level of natural ability is different between the pair of them but still, have to give him time to progress. Must absorb everything he can off of Thiago Silva like a sponge. I think Poch will be a big help too having been a central defender.
-
Probably yes. In fact as impressive as Levi has been Silva is still lightyears ahead of him as he is still one of the best CBs in the PL and Europe so whilst I get being ruthless - there is being ruthless and getting rid of the poor players but there is also being so blinded by the long term that we forget the short term. This rebuild has to happen but it will still take 12-18 months to properly make some traction because of the size of the squad and the job. For another season someone like Thiago could be invaluable, on and off the pitch. Would much rather see us get rid of Koulibaly and Chalobah before Silva. In fact would much rather we got rid of any of the other CBs before Silva because right now he is still the best one we’ve got comfortably.
-
I’m pretty sure there was multiple quotes from his agent about wanting to stay and wanting a new contract here. But we pushed him out the door for all of £12m because he had 6 months left and we had Enzo Fernandez coming in despite the midfield already being a weak position in the squad. There were rumours he was considering letting his deal run out and returning to Italy at the end of the season also. Mainly from Italian media. Which would of been a better outcome.
-
40-50m 🤣 who the fucks going to pay that? And based off what? Take into the club needing to sell this summer too. Be lucky to get over 25M.
-
Lampard saying Forrest are a threat at set pieces. So interestingly enough, we probably haven’t trained them all week.
-
About time he did something good. If he raised the prices after this season though, he wouldn’t of lasted much longer lets be honest so hardly a surprise.
-
Surely D Fofana and Hall going to play some minutes?
-
Think crediting Lampard with identifying Silva would be a discredit to someone who has been one of the elite CBs for almost 15 years in Europe. Although perhaps he pushed for him when others wouldn’t have due to his age (I do think likes of Ancelotti, Conte, Mourinho would of made same move though if here at that moment). How nobody beat PSG to signing him from Milan in 2012 is beyond me - one of the best who’s played the game in the modern day for sure.
-
Would keep him but wait and see somebody will sign him for 25-30m because we need to sell and cannot get rid of the likes of Loftus-Cheek, Ziyech, Pulisic due to their huge fucking wages.
-
Keeping Jorginho to the summer and letting him go on a free would of been the best move - its been hinted at that some of the discussions in the dressing room that have gone on about how the clubs been run/the seasons gone etc were heavily focused on the sale of him to Arsenal. I mean I know we have to/need to sell players but do people think we were that desperate for 12m or whatever we got for Jorginho in January? Even if he was backing up Enzo, or playing with him. We are still lightweight in terms of quality in MF, other than Kante, Kova and Enzo. I mean if any of them were to have gotten a big big injury would Gallagher, Zakaria or Loftus-Cheek have really been suitably good enough to come in? In comparison to Jorginho? No. I mean how often have we seen Gallagher play and be abysmally off the pace and overawed since January? Kova if he wants a new challenge fair, but if its because we don’t want to give him a 3 + 1 year deal maybe - then it is stupid. Are we not reportedly going to give Kante a 2+1? Or a 3? Why not offer Kova a 3+1? Having him, Kante, Enzo and if we sign a 23-27 year old MF player - gives us a really good mix of experience and quality again. People are making out that there are a huge amount of top midfield players out there though when in reality, there really isn’t so I think for the club to be particularly interested in just letting Kova go is very strange and typically the same sort of approach we’ve become accustomed to with this new ownership. I would rather we focused on shifting Gallagher, Ruben and perhaps even Mount depending on what he, the club and Poch discuss first and foremost.

8 minutes that make you forget the current Chelsea Season
OneMoSalah replied to Johnnyeye's topic in Chelsea Gold
Great comp but need more than 8 minutes to forget this nightmare season 😂 -
Pure stupidity. Firstly - letting Jorginho go in January and potentially now Kovacic in the summer. Wait and see us drop 120m on Rice through desperation although for half the price he’s exactly what we need. Premium quality MF players are going to be an issue to find so selling someone like Kova, particularly to City or United who will offer more £ than Bayern, would be so Boehly-Eghbali retarded its out of this world. Also Emi Martinez no thanks - go and get a proper GK ffs. Not competent enough for a possession based team and also seems to be under the impression he is some sort of world class GK when in reality he was a bench warmer at several clubs for about 10 years.

Gavi is basically a number 10 though no? I mean if he is to play as a more advanced MFer or on the sides like he has done with Spain, then I see why going after Gavi would be interesting. But as a direct alternative to a more traditional number 6/8, its a bit baffling We need someone who can play as a 6 or an 8 to compliment Enzo and can give the team a bit more defensively though. Particularly as Enzo for me, seems to be a bit of a liability with letting guys run off him when hes played next to Kovacic in particular and perhaps defensively isn’t best suited to sitting as a 6. Kante needs a successor if he leaves/good competitor if he stays. Rice not worth that money perhaps but someone who definitely can play both positions and offers that physicality we lack in midfield. Plus it possibly lets Enzo play 10-15 yards higher up the pitch - where you can see he is more comfortable IMO.
-
Fuck me have we not sorted this deal for Poch yet? What are they waiting for? Christmas? We sacked Potter almost 5 weeks ago…. I get the whole getting it right approach but nearly 5 weeks now and Poch has been the favourite for at least 3 weeks - what are they waiting for? I know their saying search to end or working on contracts now but honestly its taken an absolute age.
-
Yeah Kante wont play as a 6. Antonio Conte tried it years ago before eventually changing the system to 343. Then Lampard also tried it and it didn’t work.
-
West Ham want £120m or £100m plus a player for Declan Rice this summer. Arsenal in pole position as it stands apparently. Us, United and Liverpool also in running.

We’re not going down at least… its a start
