Sturridge would be back, but do we really know that AVB will start him. I wouldn't be surprised if Anelka starts and Daniel is benched. Furious, but not surprised.

I always thought that Malouda and Anelka should leave before him, mainly due to age and the fact that he's an okay sub, I remember many games when he came on and had a good impact on the game. (2008 vs manchester at stamford bridge he came on late in the game and scored the equalizer). He just stinks when he starts the games.

He playes on the right but likes to switch to the left sometimes in the game. When he's fit he can get past any defender with sheer pace, and can both shoot and cross well. His main problem is gets injured.....a lot and takes much time to get back in form.

Jesus Navas for instance, I always admired him. He's much better and faster, and probably much cheaper.

I think we can get much better player for that price, but if AVB wants him then we probably need him, even though I can't see it.

Apparently our interest in Ribery is not just a rumor. Reportedly we made an official bid for him yesterday. That's too high a rating for cole. It was the worst game I've ever seen him play defensively. He never covered and left the whole defense exposed several times especially in the first half. I agree with all the other ratings though. :goodpost:

Did you forget the Torres/Luiz signings....There's still time mate. Sure we'll be disgracefully desperate by then, but we like to over-pay for players just to gloat how much money our owner has..
