  1. Of course they can, but probability wise, it is much less likely for things to get worse when they are already going bad than when every thing is okay. I'm just saying you can get through shit a whole lot easier if you're optimistic.
  2. Sorry to hear that mate. Think of it this way, when every thing is going wrong, whatever comes next can't be any worse so it has to be better.
  3. 35m + 115k/week? Still too much if you ask me.
  4. looks good. If we do get him he will be joining a group of exceptionally talanted youngsters here.
  5. If we do sell Essien he should stay. He can come off the bench in some games and start the Carling and FA cup matches against weaker teams.
  6. I was hoping that Neuer had not scouted how Lamps takes his pens, every chelsea fan knew Frank was gonna smash that down the middle. Good thing is he does that so well that Neuer couldn't save it despite knowing where it was intended to go.
  7. This. People talked about Luiz's penalty, but Ashley's was one of the best executed pens I've evr seen. No goalkeeper in the world is saving that.
  8. ^^ Agreed, he's a brilliant talent, but we have Josh.
  9. Rodgers was being a c*nt in the way he treated Josh and rubbed salt into the wound with the redicilous comments he made that Josh is benefiting because he is getting to know a different city. But when you loan a player to another team, you don't expect him to be given time to adjust, especially if he was loaned halfway through the season. I f he does not have an almost immediate impact then the club won't give him the time and chances to prove himself simply because they won't benefit from him in the long run since he will be returning to his parent club. Well, if the rumors are true and the do want him, then that says something about how much the need a player like him if they are looking to secure the loan so early in the window.
  10. Good luck to him. Though I'd argue that he was the No.1 before during the Grant fiasco time here.
  11. ^^ Yes, having both him and Luiz in the same team would be qute epic
  12. Swansea was different because Josh went there mid season with the club exceeding expectations and Allen and Briton having two of the best passing stats in not just the PL but all of Europe. Why would Rodgers change anything in his starting lineup especially that Josh was very "shy" in his contribution in the only game he was given a chance?
  13. I don't see him leaving. He and Torres will be contending for that lone striker role next season and I have a feeling the Spaniard will come off second best. Either way, with 7 competitions ahead, both will get their fair share of matches.
  14. I'd rather he went on loan to a PL side to get used the league. I heard that Southampton want him.
  15. It's not about the time he plays and the effort he puts in but that he will miss the pre-season.
  16. Shon's desktop always looks very futuristic
  17. We do not need a CM. Even if we sell Essien, we still have Lamps, Meireles, Mikel, Oriol and possibly Ramires (and Josh if we don't loan him out) to compete for 2 positions. Unless we are going to change from 4-2-3-1 back to 4-3-3 (unlikely), I don't think getting a new CM is a good idea.
  18. I hope the club/manager can convince him that a pre-season with the club is very important for his whole season.
  19. Want to switch? I'd take rain over scorching sun heat anytime.
  20. Real shame. But I guess as Layla said, Eddie is doing a good job as well.
  21. The complete opposite happened to me. I was jumping and screaming the moment I saw DD beat Boateng with that run it did not even occur to me that he might not score.
