New Villarreal coach Manuel Preciado dies of heart attack 07 June 2012 Manuel Preciado, who was due to be unveiled as the new coach of Villarreal tomorrow, has died of a heart attack, the Spanish club have confirmed. Villarreal announced yesterday they had reached an agreement with Preciado to take charge of the club next season, with the 54-year-old set to be presented to the media tomorrow. However, Villarreal said in a statement this morning "The coach Manuel Preciado died overnight in Valencia as a result of a heart attack. "The Cantabrian, who had been chosen by Villarreal to lead next season's project, was 54 years old. I appologize. He plays on the right wing just as often as he plays behind the striker. I agree that there is no need to buy him if we get Hulk, however I would take hi over Hulk in a heart beat.

Signing another striker, especially a pricey one, will only be trouble for the manager and will be a repeat of the Drogba vs Torres saga which we can all agree that neither the players nor the club benefited from. If we don't get Hulk, then we should get a new striker.

Sturidge will not play on the wings this season, I'm sure of it. Yes he is frustrating at times, but all STRIKERS are selfish. He is the first youngster to force himself into the starting 11, that says something. I think he has earned his shot at CF more than Torres has. Both of them can fill the lone striker role this season and Hulk can fill in in case both are unavailable.

If both Malouda and Benayoun leave, which is more than likely, I say keep him as 3rd choice for LW. If by Jan he is not getting any minutes, then send him on loan till the end of the season. I don't want to see him sold and turn into another Borini.

Another striker? If the team has made the choice to put their trust in Fernando then I am completely against us getting another striker. We do have danny as a back up plan.
