I thought he was excellent at the start of the season. His form has dropped lately but so have the entire Hamburg defense. We all know he's a good defender, but most centerhalves need good partners in defense to shine. Garry Cahil is prime example of that, I personally never rated him too highly at bolton, but since coming here, he is slowly becoming our most consistent defender. I'd reserve judgement on Jeffrey untill I've seen him play in decent defense.

Actually, I think he "disappeared" a few weeks before AVB left. In fact, he has hardly played a match since the turn of the year (I think coming on for the last 15mins or so against Man utd at home was the only time he featured for us in 2012!)

I'd love something like this for our away kits: Anything but red. Red reminds me of Arsenal and Liverpool and Milan and Spain and I subconciously start cheering the other team on! How about orange?

Arsenal Wenger would never pay 35m for Messi, let a lone Hazard. Chelsea can definitely offer more wages than Tottenham as well, which is why I'm optimistic that we could get him if we really want to.

I'm not too familiar with those rules, but I thought that in order for a player to be considered homegrown, he has to have spent a certain amount of time with the club before a certain age. Didn't we have the same problem with Bertrand this year in the CL?
