  1. ACL is probably the worst injury for an athlete. Such a shame. Wish him a speedy recovery.
  2. Going to have to miss the first class on Thursday but I sure am not going to miss us playing in the CWC!
  3. @NishC300, @Rmpr, Hope you don't mind I moved this here boys.
  4. @Chelsea Youth also reporting 6 months so it's probably true Terrible, terrible news.
  5. It's not about age, it's about how ready the player is especially physically. Chalobah may be just 16 but he secured a first team spot in the championship in no time which shows that he is in advanced part of his development.
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBorPz_WvyI&feature=g-subs-u -The matches will be live on Chelsea TV. -Sturrdge did not travel. -Cech scored a goal in training.
  7. I never take anything or anyone that refers to football as "soccer" seriously
  8. Although I agree, I also think it is much harder to score or even attempt these goals the more competitive the match is.
  9. Probably right, he's better off extending his loan at Watford now that he established himself as a starter. I think the club will extend the loan if Watford want him.
  10. That's because that FK came at a time where everything about Brazilian football was hyped and France vs Brasil was a well anticipated fixture due to their matches together even if it was a friendly. If now, Messi or Ronaldo score a goal like that even in training it would be the talk of the people for weeks.
  11. His loan ends in Jan. He will be back here unless the club loans him out again.
  12. http://blogs.grada360.com/juanmata/en/2012/12/10/un-nuevo-pais-un-nuevo-desafio/
  13. Ibra's goal was one of the best I've seen but it was after all a friendly match so the goal loses it's importance. I would vote Rooney's goal vs shitty before Ibra's, tbh.
  14. Number one priority should be DM. Chalobah would be back from his loan in Jan but I really don't see us giving him a chance in the first team despite the great loan spell he had. Our best option would be, imo, to loan a DM till the end of the season.
  15. I just don't think that he will fit in our team. He fits perfectly with West Ham because they are a physical team and he probably would have fit with us back when we had Ballack and Essien in midfield, but bring him over now and have him play one-touch passes with the likes of Mata and hazard and he will look a championship player.
  16. I thought we could turn this into a weekly thing where everyone could post his goal of the week or just share amazing goals. What do you guys think? I'll start: This is from the Belgian league: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7sCK7yaeHGY&feature=g-subs-u
  17. I actually think Barca would struggle against the likes of Stoke. They would definitely concede from half the set pieces Stoke get. Just imagine how tiny Messi would look in front of Huth!
  18. True, but can he do it on a cold night in Stoke?!
  19. Piazon is still not ready for a loan imo. He is getting all that he needs to develop from playing for U21s and the NextGen series. You can't rush these youngsters' development or the result would be the opposite. There will be plenty of time to loan him out the next two seasons.
  20. Our youngsters seem to have the worst of luck in the timing of their injuries.
  21. True but in 2011 we had experienced players who had been playing together in the PL for years. That kind of comeback takes PL experience imo. Take Cech, Terry and Cole out of the starting XI and you are left with no one with more than 2 years experience in the PL.
  22. I've watched them a few times in the Brazilian league and they definitely not an average side. I thought their defense was unexpectedly good for a Brazilian team. They also have some players excellent players like Paulinho who plays for the NT. So, it definitely will be a tough match and we'll need to take it seriously if we want to win.
