Yesterday must have been the first 90 mins he played in years! Still put in a decent shift, especially in the first half when he kept Boro's left side quite.
Like I said in the match thread, he looked very impressive on his first senior start. A bit too enthusiastic in places but that is expected at his age. Hi distribution was good and defending and tackling even better. Positioning still needs some work though. Keep it up Nathan.
You are forgetting that pussycats plays with Barcelona who have the best off the ball movement in the world (or used to) while our front four stand behind two lines of opposition players and expect the ball to reach their feet. Mikel's job is to keep possession, and no one in front of him makes himself available he is forced to pass back instead of playing a pass that we are almost certain to lose.
I've been visiting many forums lately for opposition views, and the more forums I visit the more I learn to appreciate TC. Jim, mate, what you're created here is truly magnificent. Thank you!
Well he finally broke.. But I must say as much as I hate him, he makes a good point. He'll be gone by the end of the seaon no matter what. But if we want team to finish in the top four the players really need our support.
I think you haven't been watching PSG much this season. Alex has been below average every single match I've seen of him this season (which are admittedly not much). But when Alex was Garry's age, I completely agree that he was a better CB.
We need someone like him or Modric if we are going to persist with 4-2-3-1 and want to challenge for trophies next season. But as the users above have mentioned, we owe KDB at least a season to prove that we don't need to someone else.
