I brought him in comparison with Josh and moved the posts that were only about Van Ginkel to his thread so that this one won't get derailed.

I don't care who wrote that. I saw the two games and this is my opinion. I've expressed it, and I've explained why and I'm going to find a video of his performance and point out the incidents I'm talking about. If you think otherwise then feel free to explain why. "You're drunk" is not really an intelligent counter-argument.

Van Ginkel's passing has been terrible in both games. Fist he's very slow at it and often needs an extra touch or two before releasing the ball. Second, his technique is awful, meaning even when he does make the pass it is often either behind the player or difficult for him to control; meaning the receiver often has to take an extra touch which also slows down the play. Moreover, his vision is bad; he seems only to be able to make the 'obvious' pass and when a defender blocks that angle he looks unsure what to do and often goes back to defense. And finally, he seems to struggle with passes more than 15-20 meters away and often misplaces them. It's still way too early and I'm not passing judgement, but I have not yet seen how Van Ginkel is good at everything else. I'm going to move those posts because this is not his thread.

Yes it's only preseason and yes it's only for fitness. But I couldn't help but wonder today, why in the hell are we sending this guy out on loan but keeping Van Ginkel who looked like he was struggling with some basic passes?!

That's good. Who wants to do the two matches in between Inter and Roma?

Chelsea youngster, Josh McEachran is could take some part in our game against Malaysia XI tomorrow after recovering from injury. The 20yo midfielder had missed the first preseason game on Wednesday after he tweaked his groin in tarining. But it seems he is on his back from injury after tweeting that his "Groin feels alot better! Back very soon :)". This comes among speculation that the England U21 international is set to leave the club on loan again. Josh had spent the whole of last season on loan at Middlesbrough and is expected to have a similar season this time around after the Sun's Rob Beasley tweeted, after a chat with Jose Mourinho, that Josh is going out on loan. The destination of the said loan is yet to be known. It will be interesting to see if the club can get young Josh a PL or if he would be heading back to the championship. In other Chelsea loan news. The club today announce that Sam Walker would be returning to Colchester on loan till Jan. The young keeper had spent the second part of last season there and had played an integral part in helping the Essex club avoid relegation from League One. Click here to view the article

I think it's best, instead of taking turns we see who is free to do what before every 4/5 games and assign them accordingly so that everyone feels free and not pressured. I reckon we should start doing them for the US preseason matches as there really isn't much to write about the Malaysia XI. I'll do the first one against Inter as a sort of template or reference and we'll see who wants to do the one against Milan/Valencia and the third game. Everyone agree with the above?

Going back to Colchester till Jan: http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/3322333/title/walker-returns-to-colchester-on-loan He did well there last season and it seems the club is sticking to what worked.

Good interview with official site: http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/3322451 I love that last part

Don't tell Stingray or he'll want to put it to the test!
-
Barca would actually be perfect for AVB's "philosophy". Doubt it would happen, though.
-
LOL He meant Terry by 26. He said there is news about a defender as well and then tweeted "At least CLL is taking it like a man". CLL as in captain leader legend. On any account it is either BS or something completely unimportant.
-
Apparently the news that Rob Beasley has been teasing about all day is related to Torres and JT. The "Torres" news is supposed to be bad for him because he tweeted "Poor Nando". Let me be the first to call whatever the news is BS before it is published.
-
Oh. They still make it to the EL if they lost the CL qualifiers, right?
-
Hope you don't mind I added that last sentence, mate.
-
Wasn't he the one that reported that we've signed Falcao back in December and that Pelligrini will be our manager this season among other things?
-
Rob Beasley may be a Chelsea fan, but he is an absolute cunt. I wouldn't a word he writes.
-
No, my personal favorite is "Rooney is lazy". LMAO
-
Did they lose any of their players from last season? Or was last season just a "one-off" from the group of players they have?
-
Unless you're willing to pay his wages yourself, I can't see how that is possible

Jose Mourinho says he won't risk Frank Lampard in Asia

last thing you want in preseason is an injury. Luckily we have a great medical team. -
But the point is, Chalobah can develop well anywhere, because his main assets can be valuable to any team. Josh on the other hand needs good players around him to be at his best. On any account, I think both will be going on loan as Jose only talked about Kevin, Romelu and Kala when talking about players returning from loan and joining the first team. I think it is best if Nathanial goes out on loan again. He still has a lot of room for improvement and he will be behind Mikel and Essien in the pecking order here.
-
@Barbara, Sorry sweetie, but Nish already posted an article about Jose not risking Lamps. So I had to delete yours Maybe we should coordinate the news articles as well. So from now on, let's post here what we plan on writing to make sure no one else is doing the same, alright? Now, I'm going to approve Nish's news article about Jose saying Iva is not for sale. Then later on I'm going to write a short article about Josh recovering from injury and being expected to go on loan.

Great work, mate. But try to save some for later PS: I just posted your earlier one.

Yeah that'd be very helpful. What's your source?
