No, actually we said that the gesture itself was not antisemitic because the people who invented it and were using it were identifying it as anti-establishment.

Not my words, that is the caption that is used by the left wing Israeli comic which you would see if you clicked on the link. No, it's 17 during the summer alone. And it's a small land filled with 1.8 million civilians. Just because they drop millions of tons of explosives on their heads, doesn't make it a "war zone"!

More to do with the weak league and slow pace. A month or so ago, Di Natalie and Luca Toni (or Totti, I can't remember) made the comments that the fact that they're still playing is actually a very bad sign for the Serie A. On a different note, how would a cunt celebrate? With a selfie, of course! Just when you think you can't hate Totti any more...

I'm not saying he's right! I thought you meant to know where I had got that figure from. Honestly don't care enough to look for reliable numbers about this, but if the guardian say 25 then that's probably it.

Preseason aside, no. In fact, he has been outstanding whenever he has featured. The match against Newcastle was probably one of his less impressive displays and he still managed to have an excellent half.

There is NOTHING in the world more awkward than Neil-Oscar interviews. I swear, I couldn't watch more than a minute of that interview!

I like Atleti less and less every time I see them this season. Turning into the most dirty and completely unsportsmanlike team, and that's saying something in La Liga!

Yeah, but the "famous people" leading march have hijacked it along with the rights of the 3.5 million and the rest of the world to take a genuine stand for free speech. Basically obliterated any chance for the march to actually any change and devoid it from any meaning. It turned into a march for state power and blind patriotism. You think the people in the front will you this to enhance freedom of speech? Most likely the opposite: It will be used to increase racism, spy on ALL citizens, increase restriction on people and media freedom, and justify foreign policies and military actions just like 9/11 did in the US. Very smart tactic, actually. I remember a couple of years ago we had some marches here against the sectarian regime. More people were increasingly getting involved until some of the sectarian leaders joined the march! Completed destroyed the whole thing and no one showed up for the next one. That was a political lesson hard learned

Only Bashar Al Asad and Kim Jong Un missing from the Paris March today, and maybe Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi himself. What a fucking joke! A march for the freedom of speech and press and against terrorism led by some of the biggest dictators, war criminals, and creators of terrorism in the world. Seriously, the march included: 1) King Abdullah of Jordan, which last year sentenced a Palestinian journalist to 15 years in prison with hard labour2) Prime Minister of Davutoglu of Turkey, which imprisons more journalists than any other country in the world3) Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel, whose forces killed 17 journalists in Gaza last yr (second highest after Syria)4) Foreign Minister Shoukry of Egypt, which as well as AJ staff has detained journalist Shawkan for around 500 days5) Foreign Minister Lavrov of Russia, which last year jailed a journalist for "insulting a government servant"6) Foreign Minister Lamamra of Algeria, which has detained journalist Abdessami Abdelhai for 15 months without charge7) The Foreign Minister of the UAE, which in 2013 held a journo incommunicado for a month on suspicion of MB links8) Prime Minister Jomaa of Tunisia, which recently jailed blogger Yassine Ayan for 3 years for "defaming the army9) The PMs of Georgia and Bulgaria, both of whom have a record of attacking & beating journos10) The Attorney General of the US, where police in Ferguson have recently detained and assaulted WashPost reporters 11) Prime Minister Samaras of Greece, where riot police beat & injured two journalists at a protest in June last year12) Sec-Gen of NATO, who are yet to be held to account for deliberately bombing and killing 16 Serbian journos in '9913) President Keita of Mali, where journalists are expelled for covering human rights abuses14) The Foreign Minister of Bahrain, 2nd biggest jailer of journos in the world per capita (they also torture them)15) Sheikh Mohamed Ben Hamad Ben Khalifa Al Thani of Qatar, which jailed a man for 15 ys for writing the Jasmine poem 16) Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas, who had several journalists jailed for insulting him in 201317) Prime Minister Cerar of Slovenia, which sentenced a blogger to six months in prison for "defamation" in 201318) Prime Minister Enda Kenny of Ireland, where "blasphemy" is considered a criminal offense19) Prime Minister Kopacz of Poland, which raided a magazine to seize recordings embarrassing for the ruling party20) PM Cameron of the UK, where authorities destroyed documents obtained by The Guardian and threatened prosecution21) Saudi ambassador to France. Wow, the refereeing had been terrible in the match today. Phill Dowd really is unfit to lead an EPL match. On a different note:

Is there room for improvement at Chelsea? Although Chelsea were strongly fancied to enjoy a successful 2014/2015 campaign, few expected the Blues to make such a blistering start that has blown everyone away. Not only has Jose Mourinho kept his promise that his team would fare much better in the Premier League in his second season since returning to Stamford Bridge, but also appear ominously strong in the Champions League and Capital One Cup. Chelsea have made their way to the semi-final stage of the latter competition after the 3-1 victory at Derby, but there were signs of complacency creeping into their game which made the victory less secure than it could have been. The same could be said of recent performances in the Premier League; although the defeat at Newcastle may turn out to be a blessing in disguise despite Chelsea losing their unbeaten record, the Blues have allowed Manchester City to catch up to them at the top following the potentially damaging 5-3 loss at Tottenham. Lack of cutting edge It may sound extremely harsh to find a fault in any of Chelseas performances this season, but there have been occasions in recent weeks where the team could be criticised for a lack of cutting edge. The Blues are the joint-top goal scorers in the Premier League, yet failed to be ruthless and put Hull to the sword despite playing against ten men for the last 30 minutes. It could be argued that the game was already won by the time Tom Huddlestone received a straight red card, particularly as the visitors barely threatened at any stage of the game, but it was an opportunity missed to score more. Chelsea also struggled to create many clear-cut chances against Newcastle and Southampton who made themselves extremely difficult to break down a tactic which may be used more frequently by opponents who try to stop the likes of Eden Hazard, Diego Costa and Oscar in full flow. Goal difference could be a crucial factor in the title race, with Manchester City showing the same defensive and attacking qualities as Chelsea, meaning that Mourinhos sides must be more creative and ruthless when opportunities to score a number of goals arise. Defensive errors Errors are part and parcel of football, but a backline which has looked so secure this season has shown signs of complacency that need to be addressed. John Terrys uncharacteristic error against Southampton could be put down as one of those moments that can happen in any football match, but the lack of shape and organisation against Tottenham was ruthlessly exposed. Chelsea were well aware of the rich vein of form Harry Kane is in, yet gave the English striker way too much time and space to pull the strings and cause havoc. It may prove to be a one-off, but other teams will gain encouragement from how effective Tottenhams direct approach was at unsettling Chelseas defensive line and look to replicate it. Mourinho has set extremely high standards at Chelsea this season, and will undoubtedly look to ensure the team remain tight at the back and do not become sloppy in their application of solid defending. Upcoming games against Swansea and Manchester City are likely to pose a real test of Chelseas resolve as Premier League leaders, and will need John Terry to lead by example and ensure the teams attacking threat is matched by a water-tight defence to stand the best chance of remaining at the summit come the end of the season. Quick look at Squawka finds that Ryan has created 16 chances including 2 assists while Clyne has 11 created chances with NO assists. Defensively, Ryan has 38 interceptions and 4 blocks, while Nathanial has 33 and 3 blocks. Clyne has more clearances though with 56 compared to 46. Ryan also has 58% duels won compared to Clyne's 48%. Both on 2 goals so far since you mentioned it in your previous post. Will try to look later for average touches and dribbles and such on statszone.

As I eluded to in a post above, the issue was with wages. The contract that we offered him was rumored to be on reduced wages while he is now supposedly on a higher wage at City than he ever was at Chelsea.
-
Watch one of their games and you'll see what I mean. Every time I saw Soton this season, you could very clearly see that A LOT more goes down the left than the right. I'm too busy right now to look up the stats, but I'm willing to bet that Ryan has more average passes and touches on the ball than Clyne.
-
Higher ceiling is debatable, but Ryan has clearly been better this season. One of, if not the, most important player for Soton. Almost every attack goes through him down the left wing.
-
Well, you can't say they're not creative!

Saw a Millwall fan on Twitter posting pics of sticks and knives "in case we get Chelsea".

Because the cop was "doing his job" while the market worker did a truly heroic and as you said instinctive act. Muslims and Africans being instinctively able to do heroic acts does not fit the current "story".
